I'm pleased that they can get treatment for their daughter, but it does frustrate me slightly that these 'celebs' can raise £1million in hours because they are 'famous' when there's thousands of children in similar positions without the luxury of Insta parents.

I have to say I thought he was a knob on ex on the beach, but since his daughter was born and diagnosed with leukaemia he seems to have grown up so much. His daughter is adorable and I really hope her treatment is successful, I saw that their go fund me has reached its target already

I know every single penny counts but Dannielle Armstrong donated £5... no words at all. She had the cheek to write on the story she shared ‘just donated’ no words at all.

I donated and personally I don't give 2 hoots if they spend the money on coffees staying awake to mind that beautiful baby or anything else they see fit at this time , I don't care. I donated . I fully trust the money will solely be used for their daughter and then any other children they can help. Also it's not the time for any of this. My heart is with them x

They can ask or want privacy. And I say that as someone who donated.

Their baby is very seriously ill. They have told her story which I have followed all along.
They asked in desperation for people to help them raise money for their last option to save their daughter. They never expected to raise that money. Even if he was a millionaire, they've had months of not working and still paying for everything. If they do go to singapore, that's a whole year things still have to be paid for when they are abroad. Someone on this thread said his cars seem to have gone. Maybe he sold them. Who knows. I don't even care. I care about that baby.

If they have had bad news, I do not expect them to be on Instagram updating me. She is their baby, they need time with her.
Maybe they are flying out, or arranging it? I don't expect them to stop and tell us, they will at some point. Maybe they are exhausted and need time away, I don't blame them.
People chose to donate, we don't now have a right to azaylia. We will find out when they want to or are ready. This is the first time they have gone quiet.

And if it is bad news, people would also most likely put them down if they were on Instagram all the time.

They clearly adore that baby and are in pain I do not ever want to imagine.

Exactly, and you would have to be a hard bastard to think oh I use my daughters aggressive cancer to crowdfund some extra cash for my pocket. Whatever he’s done or how he’s acted in the past can’t cloud the fact the man is clearly doing whatever he can to save his daughters life

He may have been worth a million or something before.

But he and safiyya have spent months in the hospital changing over so one of them can be with azaylia. So he can't have been working and making money like he was. He will still have a mortgage/rent and bills to pay whilst doing that. It says above they were in hotels which would have cost and they have sold his cars too.
Whilst abroad for a year all the bills will still need paying, and they won't be home to work like normal.

You can see the desperation and devestation in them, as any parent would be. I'm sure if he had the money to fund it he would have done it in a heartbeat.

I have followed their story and its heartbreaking. I hope so badly they get her to Singapore as quickly as possible and it works.

He’s sold his cars he’s sold nearly everything that’s worth anything to fund this . And the past 7 months in hospital . The hotel wasn’t funded by the nhs he was paying that . also the house they have is rented so he was paying for that . Saff hasn’t got much so it did all fall on him to provide

yes we know it’s tragic and sad about the lovely little girl, nobody is questioning this.

You can’t ask the public for a million pounds then ask for privacy. You do realise if they get to Singapore (we all hope) that they will need to provide rental receipts, shopping receipts, medical receipts etc? Every penny of that money will need to be accounted for.

Their daughter is gravely ill and potenially won't make it. She's a baby. Do you honestly think her parents are going to be out living a wild party lifestyle on the back of GoFund donations? And on the absolutely absurd and ridiculous asumption that they would, who on earth would begrudge them some creature comforts in their situation? If you do, then I really hope you didn't donate as I'm sure noone would want such bitter cash.

Also, none of us are owed a damn thing, nor should we expect it. Even if you gave them a full £1 mil from your own pocket. They will update everyone when they are ready and anyone who thinks that their first focus should be anything other than their baby girl right now (and heaven knows their own mental health which will be fully down the toilet) needs to give themselves a shake.

I was pleased to see a rave thread but disappointed with some of the comments. He isn't exactly an a-list celeb and has spent 6 months living in a hotel and not working. Yes, maybe he still gets an income from insta but they would still be paying for rent, bills etc aswell. I didn't like him from ex but have followed their story since the beginning. People can grow and change. Even before the GoFundMe I wondered how much longer they could afford to live as they are.

I personally think he can afford it but because the whole situation has been so public he has taken advantage of the situation and asked for the whole 1 mil

I get were you are coming from but find it odd that people have an issue with how much money they have raised because they are “celebs” (hardly). No one forced anyone to donate. You can go on go fund me and search “cancer treatment” or what ever you prefer to spend your money on and donate to them. I don’t mean that to sound snide I just don’t know how to write differently I usually donate to animals needing surgery. I’m hoping Ashley and his girlfriend share other people’s go funds me to help raise awareness and maybe donate any money they have over their target to less fortunate families.

I’m shocked that people actually have turned this thread wishing little Azaylia better into questioning what they’ll do with raised funds or questioning why they needed it. This needs to stop. Those parents are going through enough.

People have no idea what it is like having a sick child. You can't sleep eat or function. Your heart is breaking & you feel like you are in a nightmare.

Not only did Ashley say he'd donate any extra money to charity he also is doing a cycle. When he asked for people to register as bone marrow donors they got a record amount of replies which will save lives.

It may look like they have money but this may come as a surprise to you they probably have a mortgage bills etc. If they go abroad for treatment they won't have any income & again this may shock you but food costs money in Singapore.

I've honestly never read a more disgusting comment Kerry72 than suggesting what you did. Stevie Wonder can see how much he loves Azaylia. To suggest otherwise is vile

I cannot believe this thread, which may I add is a rave thread, has gone from genuine people sending love to this poor little girl and her family to people questioning the money that has been rasied.

They are both entitled to take a few days away from instagram if they want to. Their daughter is incredibly poorly and no one should be commenting on Ashley's lifestyle. If he had 'millions' I'm sure he'd fund the treatment himself.

I personally think nobody should be having to pay a fortune for treatment for a child whether celebrity, royalty or just the general public.

Dont want to get political but our governement piss money up the wall on death trap smart motorway schemes, HS2, paying hundreds of thousands to specialist consultants for a few days work and cant fund cancer treatment for a baby. Makes me really angry.

I think Ash has enough about him to realise that if he cant get the treatment to save his baby that he can fight the crusade for others like her when the time is right.
