The inspire HR does the heart rate and also the cardio, fat burn and peak levels.

I find the other watches a bit big on my wrist as I have a small wrist ( sadly not like the rest of me)

I got a Versa 2 for Christmas to replace my Charge 3 - I really like it! I love the colourful background (I bought a background that makes a peony bloom the more steps you take). The sleep tracker is a bit of a novelty to me as I suffer from insomnia and it said I had 11 hours sleep the other night - half of that was just me laying in bed awake 😂 One thing I don't like is how tedious it is to change the straps.

Sorry to hijack the thread OP, does anyone with an Apple Watch actually really like their watch? Is it worth the money over a Fitbit?

I have been considering an Apple Watch for when my fit bit eventually dies it's death. I doubt it'll be anytime soon but mainly because I have an iPhone anyway, and then my laptop died a few months ago so I replaced it with a Mac laptop as it was the only laptop I could find that could be seen to British in Germany, so I feel like getting in Apple Watch instead of another Fitbit might be better as then they'll all sync. Right now I have the Fitbit app so that's fine.
yeah does anyone have an opinion. I don't want to spend the money on it if it's not going to be better than my Fitbit

Versa Lite here, absolutely love it! My whole family and most of my friends also use Fitbit so we do a lot of the step challenges and really get competitive with the leader board.

I have an inspire HR, had it for about a year and I like it. I bought it as I wanted to lose weight and get fit and needed something to track exercise and steps to keep myself accountable. I use it mainly for this still, but I can get notifications through from my phone if I wanted to (can only see the first bit of the message though). Would recommend :)

I had a Versa but my boyfriend bought me an apple watch for Christmas.

I did like the Versa, but like many others who have commented here I had issues with it. It would glitch and crash. I contacted Fitbit and they were really good and just sent a replacement, but you can imagine my disappointment when the replacement did a similar thing!

Now that I have an apple watch I really don't think I'd go back to a Fitbit tbh. I like the fact I can reply to texts/answer calls from my watch with the apple watch. On the Fitbit you could only view them not reply. I think the apple watch does a lot more. There is a Fitbit pay option on Fitbit but it only supports certain banks, and mine wasn't supported so that felt like a wasted feature!

The only thing I did prefer on the fitbit to apple is that all the stuff is held in one app. With the apple watch if you want to look at your sleep/steps/activity in more detail on your phone then it requires multiple apps (you can view some stuff in the health app but to get detail like is available with Fitbit you need multiple apps). On Fitbit, it's handy because it's all in one place. I also liked that I could track my periods with Fitbit.

Eta- the battery is also better on the fitbit than it is on the apple watch, but then the apple watch does so much more so understandable!

Sorry to hijack the thread but my fitbit has just broken today 😩 I have had the Fitbit Charge for just over 3 years so is out of warranty. I have read this thread and spoken to friends and family members who have all advised me to stay away from Fitbit and look at others. I dont have an iPhone so Apple watches are out of the question.

I liked the Charge in that I could track everything and also looked quite smart on the screen. I didnt use it for connecting to my phone's notifications.

Does anyone have any recommendations for either Fitbits or alternatives?

I have the Inspire, I do like it for tracking steps and sleep etc.

I used to have the Charge 2 years ago. I think I preferred that as it gave more data in terms of what heart rate zone I was in during exercise and the calories burned from being in those zones. It also gave you a fitness rating based on your age which I found interesting.

The Inspire feels quite basic in terms of what data it gives me in comparison to the Charge. I think when the battery in this one dies I will buy a slightly upgraded model.

I only want it to track my steps, heart rate and sleep cycles really. I’m a staff nurse so won’t be able to wear it at work. Hoping I can keep it in my pocket to still count the steps?
I have had a charge 2 for a couple of years (I know its been updated a few times since), but having spent 7 months in a redeployed role (where I could not wear my watch due to cross contamination issues) it did track my steps and heart rate from my pocket.

Much excitement today when I found out you can buy attachments for the charge 4 so it becomes like a fob watch. I can now wear it for work. I am aware Im probably the last to know about these but it's made me so happy 😆😆

I love my apple watch. I had a Fitbit Versa before and I definitely wouldn't go back. The only thing I preferred on the Fitbit was the battery life - it lasted far longer than my apple watch. Other than that I think apple is superior in every way.

Charge 4. Helpful for everyday use but not very accurate for exercise, so I have an ECG heart monitor I wear for workouts as it's much more accurate.

I am currently on my second replacement though and I've heard replacement is fairly common. If it breaks again, I'll steer clear and go with another brand instead.

I got a charge 2 about 2 years ago and it’s still going strong! I replaced the strap with a magnetic bracelet strap so that it doesn’t fall off. I’ve been thinking about upgrading but hey if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

I initially bought a Fitbit but I sent it back as I have really small wrists and it looked really bulky on me, and the watch didn't have the options I was looking for. I found it very basic.
I ended up spending a bit more, and purchasing a Garmin Forerunner 645 Music (with Spotify built in) and I highly recommend it! I can track all the various types of activities/work outs, Spotify is connected to my bluetooth headphones, etc.
