Anyone have a Fitbit?

I got a Versa 2 for Christmas to replace my Charge 3 - I really like it! I love the colourful background (I bought a background that makes a peony bloom the more steps you take). The sleep tracker is a bit of a novelty to me as I suffer from insomnia and it said I had 11 hours sleep the other night - half of that was just me laying in bed awake 😂 One thing I don't like is how tedious it is to change the straps.

I have a Fitbit charge 3 - I like how compact it is. The versa range felt quite bulky when I tried one on.

Fitbit has been recently bought by Google so I suspect some big changes and competition for Apple

Have you been in touch with them? I’ve had so many (free) replacements over the years.

I think I’m on my third ionic where things have gone wrong - I just message them on Twitter they look to see when I set it up and cos it’s always been in warranty of 2 years they’ve sent me a new one. I didn’t even have proof of purchase as it was a Christmas present and told them this.

So I don’t think their hardware is great but their customer service has always been excellent.
I had this experience too, but in the end switched to an apple watch because no matter how great their customer service sending a new one was, I was on my fourth charge 2 then my third charge 3 all for random faults and it was annoying having to be without it for a week in the cases where it totally died while the replacement came.

Other than the real QC issues I loved the fitbit experience but it just became too much.

Sorry to hijack the thread OP, does anyone with an Apple Watch actually really like their watch? Is it worth the money over a Fitbit?

I have been considering an Apple Watch for when my fit bit eventually dies it's death. I doubt it'll be anytime soon but mainly because I have an iPhone anyway, and then my laptop died a few months ago so I replaced it with a Mac laptop as it was the only laptop I could find that could be seen to British in Germany, so I feel like getting in Apple Watch instead of another Fitbit might be better as then they'll all sync. Right now I have the Fitbit app so that's fine.
yeah does anyone have an opinion. I don't want to spend the money on it if it's not going to be better than my Fitbit

Loove my apple watch. It is so nice how easily everything is transferred between the different devices. Everything works a lot better imo and very well worth the money. Especially considering the difference between the higher Versa‘s and cheapest apple watch isn‘t that huge.
Only downside is the battery life but once you figure out a routine when to charge it it‘s perfectly fine ☺

I have the Inspire, I do like it for tracking steps and sleep etc.

I used to have the Charge 2 years ago. I think I preferred that as it gave more data in terms of what heart rate zone I was in during exercise and the calories burned from being in those zones. It also gave you a fitness rating based on your age which I found interesting.

The Inspire feels quite basic in terms of what data it gives me in comparison to the Charge. I think when the battery in this one dies I will buy a slightly upgraded model.

Totally with @Welshgal. The watch is great and everything transfers from the watch to phone which is very convenient . The battery however drains fast. I charge mine overnight and that seems to work ok for me. Still exploring as it’s quite new

The inspire HR does the heart rate and also the cardio, large burn and peak levels.

I find the other watches a bit big on my wrist as I have a small wrist ( sadly not like the rest of me)

Thank you both for the replies! My Fitbit is still going strong at the minute but it's something to consider. I'll do my research

I had a charge 3 for a while. It KEPT breaking, and eventually even after being sent a replacement that also broke, the strap itself broke and then I ended up buying Apple Watch. So much happier with it and well worth the money

I have a charge 3 which I got in the first lockdown. It does inspire me to walk more and I like that it picks up exercise and counts calories burnt. However it’s broken a few times for various reasons and I’m currently on my 3rd free replacement. I think the warranty is 2 years so by the time that’s done I may upgrade to an Apple Watch

I only want it to track my steps, heart rate and sleep cycles really. I’m a staff nurse so won’t be able to wear it at work. Hoping I can keep it in my pocket to still count the steps?
I have had a charge 2 for a couple of years (I know its been updated a few times since), but having spent 7 months in a redeployed role (where I could not wear my watch due to cross contamination issues) it did track my steps and heart rate from my pocket.

Ive got a charge HR 2

It's weird but it does the job!

Id love a versa but cant justify a new one when this does everything I need 😂

I initially bought a Fitbit but I sent it back as I have really small wrists and it looked really bulky on me, and the watch didn't have the options I was looking for. I found it very basic.
I ended up spending a bit more, and purchasing a Garmin Forerunner 645 Music (with Spotify built in) and I highly recommend it! I can track all the various types of activities/work outs, Spotify is connected to my bluetooth headphones, etc.

I love my apple watch. I had a Fitbit Versa before and I definitely wouldn't go back. The only thing I preferred on the Fitbit was the battery life - it lasted far longer than my apple watch. Other than that I think apple is superior in every way.

Versa Lite here, absolutely love it! My whole family and most of my friends also use Fitbit so we do a lot of the step challenges and really get competitive with the leader board.

I have a fitbit charge 3,bought it in first lockdown and it's been great. Hasn't broke (yet) and holds its charge really well

I got a charge 2 about 2 years ago and it’s still going strong! I replaced the strap with a magnetic bracelet strap so that it doesn’t fall off. I’ve been thinking about upgrading but hey if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

Does anyone wear their regular watch on one arm and their fitness tracker on the other?
