I have a Versa 2, got it in the first lockdown last year. I wear it every day, it holds battery really well and has some good features - although at the moment I’m only really using it for checking my steps!

I used to sleep with it on top to look at my sleep patterns but got out of the habit after a while.

I had a charge 2 which has decided to pack in so i spent £40 on amazon for an apple watch look alike so fingers crossed it is good

I had a Versa and following an update at 4 months old, it corrupted the software and the only solution was getting a replacement. Within 3 weeks the same thing happened to that. Versa was then an old model, so they replaced with a Versa 2.

I let the battery run down over Christmas and now it’s glitching either I’m really unlucky or there’s a flaw with updated software.

If you go on the Fitbit Versa forums “screen gone black after update” You’ll see it’s a very common problem.

ETA: when it works, I love it. Battery is pretty good unless it’s glitching and it seems really accurate in terms of recording exercise/heart rate.

@Doc I had the exact same problem! Got a replacement but the same happend again.

I‘ve now switched to an Apple Watch and I love it! Especially if you have an iPhone it works much better.
If you are really serious about tracking workouts then I heard Garmin is best but for just everyday tracking and not needing the stats to be 100% the apple watch (and a Versa if they work ) are fine

I have a Letscom fitness tracker that I bought for £20 over 18 months ago. It tracks my steps and calories used from walking and it tracks my sleep. Really pleased with it. Battery is good, still lasts more than a week on one charge. You can be notified about calls and texts and messages from WhatsApp and Facebook messenger but I have them switched off. It also has a silent alarm.

I had the one that looked like a cheaper Apple Watch. I don’t remember the name of it but it was about £200 I think, and black. Anyway they had to replace it 3 times for me because it kept going faulty so in the end I returned it and got an Apple Watch, which I love and have never had a single problem with. I don’t think I would bother with a FitBit again. Depends though if you have a lot of Apple stuff, one of the big pulls for the Apple Watch is that it talks to your phone so if you don’t have an iPhone it’s probably not as useful

I had one and the screen kept playing up. No matter what I did nothing helped. I upgraded to the Versa 2 and the same thing happened after a year. I got so frustrated just before Christmas spending such a long time on the help line, reading up online, until I just gave up. My husband bought me an Apple Watch for Christmas which I’m still exploring. The Fitbit when it works is great and obviously much cheaper than the Apple Watch. What I do find useful now though is that my watch is now ‘married’ to my phone which helps.

I have a versa 2 and it's rubbish. Always glitches and jusr dies randomly even though it's fully charged. I'm gonna get an apple watch instead I think

Same here, going to save up for an Apple Watch. From my experience, Fitbits are expensive for the amount of time they’re useful for

I had a Versa but my boyfriend bought me an apple watch for Christmas.

I did like the Versa, but like many others who have commented here I had issues with it. It would glitch and crash. I contacted Fitbit and they were really good and just sent a replacement, but you can imagine my disappointment when the replacement did a similar thing!

Now that I have an apple watch I really don't think I'd go back to a Fitbit tbh. I like the fact I can reply to texts/answer calls from my watch with the apple watch. On the Fitbit you could only view them not reply. I think the apple watch does a lot more. There is a Fitbit pay option on Fitbit but it only supports certain banks, and mine wasn't supported so that felt like a wasted feature!

The only thing I did prefer on the fitbit to apple is that all the stuff is held in one app. With the apple watch if you want to look at your sleep/steps/activity in more detail on your phone then it requires multiple apps (you can view some stuff in the health app but to get detail like is available with Fitbit you need multiple apps). On Fitbit, it's handy because it's all in one place. I also liked that I could track my periods with Fitbit.

Eta- the battery is also better on the fitbit than it is on the apple watch, but then the apple watch does so much more so understandable!
