Well you do tend to provide justifications for their actions. You also seemed to know how long Tarun works, where he parks and his commuting routine. I'm not sure that any of us knew that he parked at the train station and caught the train and that there is a shortcut from their house to the train station through the woods. It's not something anyone of is knew and it's quite personal information regarding their location. I posted the screenshots from the day and Anna didn't mention any of the information that you mention. Also I have been following Anna for over a year now and post regular screenshots but I have not come across this information before. I really don't think you are just a casual fan...

I couldn't find if this had been discussed in the thread yet but has anyone checked her website recently? Have you seen she's now no longer a counseller and instead offers 'coaching'. £450 + VAT for 1 hour (!). It's a neat sidestep from calling it counselling - it probably doesn't then fall under the auspices of her professional body. It's also worth pointing out that psychotherapist is not a protected title - anyone can call themselves that.

If there are people paying £540 for 1 hour with Anna, then before coaching with her they first need some money advice on not wasting their money. It's amazing that there's a second book in the works which will just be rehashing the first book and boils down to a few inane principles.

Everything is a half admission, wrapped in a ditsy distraction. Admits she is a little controlling. Admits she is a perfectionist but is quite comfy with this (in a cute/Monica type way).

Impression created - she is obsessed with what she looks like and despite the facade, she tries exceptionally hard - all the time - to look damn hot. She is so keen to pretend it’s effortless.

For example - the casual admitting to liking a bit of make-up to cheer herself up.

Make-up, I suspect, is the tip of the iceberg. I imagine there is intense control around food, alcohol, exercise, home furnishings. There is much double bluffing going on with this lady..

She is not daft - she is highly intelligent. But she is searching for people to notice her, to love her, to validate her. She wants more and more and more. It will never be enough.

It seems unimaginable to me that her husband is not fully under the tent on what she posts. She creates another false impression - that we somehow have this special, private insight into her marriage.

All bollocks. Everything is staged. Planned. Executed meticulously. From camera angles, to messy backdrops, to beautiful backdrops.

Smart girl. But perhaps also an addict.

yes all this and deeply needy. This craving for validation maybe even has shades of narcissism. Whatever it is there’s a lot of smoke and mirrors, I wouldn’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

Lots of mental health professionals have lived experience of mental health problems. That doesn’t make someone unprofessional, it just makes them human too.

I think you can show you have experiences of things and still be professional. I don’t think she comes across as professional on Instagram

I feel we need to keep a list of Anna's daily dramas. Then if anyone needs real help and guidance they can read here and try another therapist. She is a calamity.

I don’t think many of them are genuine. It’s mainly drivel. She is trying to appear imperfect, so that people like her more, even though we know she is constantly striving to be perfect.

Nanny lived with them for a year. A year! No mention of her until the other week. Yet she’s moaned about the work-kids-domesticity-homeschooling struggle the entire time. The entirety. Such a joke!!! She will have barely lifted a finger in raising her kids the entire year yet she would have her followers believe she was juggling “work” cleaning and looking after the kids. Oh yeah nearly forgot, she does no cleaning either due to having a cleaner. That was only revealed the other week too wasn’t it. Next she will reveal she has a PA organising her work schedule.

How can she think she is best placed to advise women in much less fortunate circumstances how to cope? The hypocrisy is astounding.

I also wonder if she makes space for her husband and children to have struggles, ask for help and get support from the family or is that only for Anna? Somehow I think I can guess the answer.
