Anyway I agree with @Pinkgrind about the escorts that work in luxury stores. I heard a few times (from an ex selfridges staff member) about how Arab men were known to visit a few of these “make up artists” that worked there and then later on take them to hotels. Not sure how it all worked but also heard this from another person since.

It’s consistent with what is said in other forums. Some of the makeup counter girls are also escorts.

Selfridges probably know this but don’t care.

wealthy men know these luxury stores only hire attractive girls and a lot of these men visiting the stores are on vacation and want some company, even if it is for dinner or to hang out at a bar.

I also spent a period working in a luxury menswear store in knightsbridge when I was around 20, it wasn’t even for the money but I consistently had wealthy men to entertain me. Them generally being from abroad and visiting London meant they were spending money, so you basically got to enjoy all of it for nothing.

The store staff and manager knew what I was doing and thought it was hilarious, ultimately they just want the men coming in and spending money, they couldn’t care less about what I was doing - I was building up a client book.

a lot of girls are very smart, these men can open a lot of doors for your career also, landing jobs, travel opportunities and getting you places. You don’t have to be an escort, I actually wasn’t, but if you network well and are pleasant company people will help you out.

You just have to have a strategy and an exit plan. It’s easy to get away with all of this as a young student but you couldn’t catch me now with my bad back getting up to all of this 😂😂😂
