So she doesn't want to date handsome men bcz she was insecure of their looks? She's talking as if there's a long line of hot men outside her door that she has to pick from. Oh c'mon sweetie, no good-looking man would even look at you let alone showing interest. Have you never thought of investing in a good mirror that would help you see how you actually look? A man who is decent looking, is rich and ambitious and someone who you cannot call an idiot would never hook up with a prostitute like you. Such men have high standards even in escorts. But I totally get your point of having trust issues with men bcz you have been on the other side of it sleeping with married men for money.by JetsetBabe / 97mo

My personal love life at the moment:
Zero.
Last time I actually slept with a guy must have been during Cannes film festival, lol. It’s been a dry summer season, what can I say The thing with me is that I weekly exchange numbers with guys, go for dates etc, but so far I haven’t met not even one that I feel that is a potential someone. (Ok there was this little summer fling I had but that passed just as fast as it appeared, so nothing really came out of it).
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t do one night stands anymore. Only if I’m on holiday and it feels very right in that moment.
I don’t want to sound like a prude,
I’ve had many in my life when I was early 20′s, but now since I want to start looking for a potential future husband, and the circle I surround myself is limited of people, I don’t see the point of sleeping around here where I live. That usually fires back at you eventually, especially for us girls. (No body wants a rep after all)And I’m not being extremely picky either, mind you I never pick a guy after looks. In fact, I never date good looking guys, haha. I know it sounds bizarre, but I have this thing of not even bothering with them because I have zero trust for them. (Sorry for sounding judgemental, I’m the one with issues actually)Like look at this guy above, he is gorgeous, probably a model. I mean I’ve seen hundreds of guys like that, but I have never ever tried hooking up with one or was flirting with. I just don’t see the point, as it’s a bit too much good looks. God knows how unfaithful he would be and how annoying it must be having all the girls drooling after your boyfriend. No thanks, I rather play safe. Especially with men since we have so many assholes to deal with as it is (ugly or good looking ones, doesn’t even matter).
But I know I have to stop reason like that and look around in all fields so to say. Cause to tell you the truth, so far I’ve been going a lot after personality etc, but even there I’ve been screwed many times – so whatever I’m doing it’s not really working haha.
At the moment I have a bunch of guys texting me, wanting to meet etc.
Some new, some old and some recycled, haha. But can I be honest… None of them are of value to me. They are all idiots if I can sound a little harsh for a second.
So today I was thinking of how much I actually miss of having someone worth thinking about to text with. It doesn’t need to be the man of my dreams, but at least someone that is descent, someone I don’t want to call “an idiot”. I can’t remember last time I met a guy like that. Right now it feels like I’ve never met a guy like that. Haha (I’m so dramatic.)
Just to freshen up my list, I only care for these ingredients and I’m happy:
A funny guy, a gentleman, attractive in some sense (looks or personality), above 180 cm / 5,9″, is successful or has at least ambition to become successful (nobody wants a lazy slob) and last but not least – someone that actually likes to listen and not only talk about himself.
I don’t feel my list is out of this world crazy in any sense, it’s very achievable and they are my non negotiable criteria that it’s healthy to have cause we should never pick just anything that crosses our paths.
I’ll continue looking and living like a prude, however I do need to get laid soon, nature calling you know hahaha. But I’ll keep those 2 missions separate, at least I know what I want. May this search continue…
Hello ladiez. I would like to contribute a tiny bit again to the Tattle bible of how to be elegant / look groomed for real. At zero cost, we know that Tattle has more useful advice than any of the Scam of influence videos / courses. We are having a lovely Saturday here in London, last bits of the Summer. I have my matcha ready, a good piece of cake and I'm ready to write down some stuff.
I've been thinking lately about how Anna and similar fake-gurus / "influencers" don't know much about Modern Luxury and Modern Elegance, which are separate topics in terms of style than etiquette.
Anna just thinks that elegance needs to fits certain strict rules when in reality, modern day elegance has mutated into different shapes that we can see reflected on new luxury brands, real A-listers and even on royalty figures.
What the F I am talking about? I am talking about the new wave of modern day elegance that goes beyond being overdressed or wearing what were considered elegant outfits just a few decades ago.
Let's picture it with a few examples.
A few years ago, the Olsen twins, that were huge celebrities in the 00's, decided to focus on fashion and decided to launch their own luxury fashion brand: The Row.
For instance, you cannot speak about modern day luxury and elegance without acknowledging the huge impact those twins had with their clothing line and how this trend now has a huge impact on similar boutiques. Love them or hate them, they are fashion icons and have a 500 million dollar (self made) on their backs.
We can define The Row as "the mystery of how the hell pays £600 for a basic cotton t-shirt".
The answer is: (mostly, not Anna) but... a lot of wealthy businesswoman & businessman, old money folks, REALLY wealthy people, are keen to pay an astronomical amount of money for high quality designer basics.
The Row has a selection of almost the best quality you may find in terms of basics, they have wonderful designs and you can find low key basics and also eccentric pieces to complement your style.
All their pieces are manufactured in the USA or Italy. They only use the very best materials.
There's a wonderful article from The Cut that digs deeper on how boutiques like The Row and Hermès have survived the pandemic: https://www.thecut.com/2021/03/mary-kate-ashley-olsen-the-row.html - the reality of it is that the real elite or those wealthy managers worked the whole pandemic as nothing was really going on and they kept spending their money on their famous £600 t-shirts.
The Row impact has triggered that similar brands now have their own collections of high quality basics: Acne Studios, Totême and even well known boutiques as Chloé have launched wonderful lines based on the necessity of good old basics without flashy logos. If you dig the ready to wear collections of Chanel, Dior, etc, you may also find similar pieces that are not the ones you may see Influenzesss wearing. But if you pay attention, you may spot them on business people, walking around the city and so on. Balmain Blazer, Chloé wool pants, Chanel flats, Dior scarf, no flashy logos. 10/10 look.
Those brands follow the motto that Bastine and others have pointed out here: well ironed shirts, neutrals, leather goods. It makes a good outfit with very little effort. I mean: the effort stays on having the eye to spot how to make the outfit and knowing how to spot good quality items. Falling into the "I need a flashy Gucci or Chanel bag" while you don't have a good shirt + wool/cashmere pants/scarfs it's... a trap! Don't fall for it.
Now.. Why is that Anna hasn't been invited to The Row boutiques? Or why doesn't she spends a few thousands per collection to "stay in" the basics that rule the seasson?
I will throw here a few "it" items from the last few months that I haven't spot Anna wearing. Prada and The Row mules. Bottega Veneta pouch. Totême shirts. Jimmy Choo boots. Jacquemus leather goods (not the mini bags that everyone has but their real-leather classic bags).
As always, wouldn't botter if Anna appears next week with all of these items. The point here is that she is always out of style! She doesn't have a clue about what real affluent folks are wearing besides the flashy logos her eyes spot and hermessas.
Another peculiarity of the brands that I mentioned is that is not easy to spot second hand or vintage items and even if you find a second hand The Row, the price is not cheap. Those brands don't have real "sales", not to the extent of Hermès, but you will not find, let's say, "cheap" The Row leather bags.
Anna just can't fake to belong or understand modern day elegance leaded by those high end brands, she can't afford it.
As she doesn't have the knowledge and never got over her "fake it till you make it" phase (That BTW, it doesn't work gals, that's just bad advice) I don't think Anna can spot if someone is wearing a head-to-toe The Row uniform. Again, that's the point of not wearing flashy logos. When you can afford a £10,000 outfit of high quality basics, last thing you'd like is posers like Anna coming to youyou are not going out to the world to "flex", you don't need to.
Anna, that can't even stop uploading Restaurant's menus (Anna, if you are reading this, STOP), would never understand. Why would you spent that amount of money to wear an outfit with no logos?
But guess what? As always, those of you who know, know - I can easily spot a classic The Row bag or a Chloè coat. Those a timeless classics. I also know that wearing a good quality basic t-shirt sends the correct message to the world: I am not trying hard (as Anna with her prom dresses), I am just chilling in my well presented outift.
I relate to the anecdote of having people coming to talk to me when I am wearing really simple outfits.
But even my "low effort" outfits are: my size, ironed, clean, I don't have fillers, I follow a skin - hair care routine and I look well groomed. Organic cotton shirts, black leather, a few designer classics with no flashy logos, a smile, a cup of coffee and a good book. You can provide a good chat to everyone. That's the vibe. You will be a magnet of people! I promise you!
I can't even imagine her going to those boutiques with her clown outfits and terrible fillers.
The Sales Associates know how to spot posers 1000 miles away. They will not offer you the same treatment darling. And please, don't make a lenghty post about how "the service was bad". Is not that the service is bad, is that you don't fit and you are not even trying.
How many posts with free advice can we give you till you recognise that your "etiquette course" is useless?
Next post I'd like to make a few points about the other side of Modern Day Elegance that goes well into the eccentric folks that wear head-to-toe haute couture Gucci and independent designer brands. It's something that Anna obviously doesn't understand at all, but here in London there are many artists and wealthy folks that you wouldn't guess how much the earn and you could think "they are freaks" but nah, they are artistic sensitive individuals that reign on the art scene here in London and in every well known city all over the world. It's just another huge part of "why the Anna's networking course actually will make people hate you".
Anna's Course survivors: you need to deprogramme yourself from all that BS, we are here for you.
I find the preservation of historical buildings fascinating, almost as fascinating as art restoration.Yep, there was a recent investment from a foundation (Stiftung) for the Kunstlerhaus but actually by an ex-Austrian politician and CEO of STRABAG Hans Peter Haselsteiner. The files are from the company magazine available for public. Sorry, not sorry
Extremely fishy. Their marketing exec was the only one who was free to advertise her clinic on JSB FB group without getting banned. Aija was getting all the fillers there for free.So I just searched the "Clinic" where she used to get her treatments here in London and looks quite fishy: https://www.instagram.com/aestha_clinic/ - just the general aesthetic of their IG Brand seems "off" to me. As with Anna and her followers, our sixth sense can point out that something is not quite right here.
I'm just a jealous middle class woman whose family does not own a public building. I'm uncultured, but I did manage to pass auditions and enter a music school as a teen, that might give me a week's worth of conversation material...@teki_awas, this is your chance to make friend-friend with the "high caliber" owner of the Künsterhaus, send her @Duee 's article, it will be nice to speak about the restoration, arts, Austrian politicians, Emperor Franz-Joseph, you know, the usual for her
She might let you purchase it at a premium, just bring a big enough truck and your own handlers. I'm sure she has the master keys.@teki_awas And tell her that I want to buy Egon Schiele's work. Can she be a middlewoman?I don't have enough patience for auction houses.
You need a man to get pregnant dear.805gina, are you here?)

Thank you love. This is a beautiful city. I don't want to leave!I find the preservation of historical buildings fascinating, almost as fascinating as art restoration.
My background is in STEM, I was barely assigned any art or history classes, it's a shame.
I'm going to read The Story of Art and The 12-million Stuffed Shark that someone had previously recommended.
This thread is about done. I'd like to share a classical piece which I will dedicate to the lovely @laurensanchez.
Enjoy Vienna.

Oh dear! It's things like these what make me think that we've gone too far with social media. There's a huge difference between posting travel/good time pics on Instagram and creating a 100% fake persona on which you claim to own a museum.Ladies, we must give credit where credit is due : the woman on the A-list, pretending to be the owner of the Vienna Künstlerhaus, is a real champion. She is crazier than Anna Bey who presents the Geneva 4 Seasons as her home.
It's even more insane to me that people are creating 100% fake personas with information that is easily refutable with a quick google search. Are we just signing into social media platforms these days and believing people face value for some reason?Oh dear! oh I'm sorry o hear that! Was her case very advanced?Does not. My sister used one, even special orthesis for the night, nothing corrects bunions but surgery. It only helps alleviate the pain.
If Anna paid a visit to her follower's museum in Vienna...It's even more insane to me that people are creating 100% fake personas with information that is easily refutable with a quick google search.
