Not to excuse her, but there are bound to be quite a few names that appear at these things by virtue of their being shameless social climbers who wanted the high profile connections.
Exactly. Before his arrest, Epstein was a major player in the celeb and business worlds, he got heavily involved in book publishing, theatre, everything to appear legit. He certainly threw tons of completely above board non-dodgy parties to maintain his appearance.

1. Man gives up being King for true love, the woman is a divorcee.
2. Man marries woman he doesn’t love, leaves her for married woman he loves. People don’t like how he treated his first wife, who dies tragically young.
3. spoilt Prince achieves nothing but disgrace, accused of having sex with trafficked and underage women exploited by pedal sex offender.

The earlier stuff doesn’t seem so bad any more…
It's not just the sex stuff. There's huge questions about his antics and personal business deals when he was Trade Envoy. Asking diplomats to procure women for him, bringing along dodgy business partners on public money, etc. Strangely enough, the Cabinet Office won't release the files. The FBI file handed to the Met has also done a disappearing act.

Yeah but spending public money on dodgy deals isn’t scandalous really.
In terms of royal scandals of modern times it’s The King and Mrs Simpson, Charlie and Di (including Camilla, the Al Fayeds and Paris) then…this.
I don’t even think Harry would feature as much of a “scandal“ that’s basically just a family falling out.

It's criminal though. That's why the Met has opened an investigation into misconduct in public office.

It also looks as though he's going to have to arrange his Teddy bears himself.

I think people will remember him for the pedalos sex trafficking pervy behaviour more so.
People didn’t want to have to pay for Windsor Castle to be refurbished, now who even remembers all that. Money is always an issue but it’s not salacious in the way “sweaty pon” is.

I can't see Andrew being considered as at risk of suicide after this. Mandy I can.

Has any good soul proffered a #BeKind plea?

Would anyone care?

I'm not sure that the revelations that trafficked women were taken into royal properties for Andrew is something that the RF could or should come back from, to be honest.

The people at fault here are Andrew and Fungus. Blaming the rest of the family is like pointing the finger at mother's who've produced criminal children 🙄 Sometimes the parents or other family members reaĺly can't do anything about the poor life choices of their relatives.

That said I do think that Andrew was indulged too much by his parents and consequently grew up to be an arrogant selfish scumbag. Public schools are full of such types but at least some of them may have some morals. His complete lack of morals is concerning but that doesn't mean that all the others are the same, for example Anne appears to be a far better person than Andrew.

You know how he’s saying the photo with his arm around Virginia Giuffre isn’t real because he was at Pizza Express? He never met her?

Ghislaine Maxwell has said in newly-released emails that the photo is real and that she introduced them.
It makes it so suspicious he made up a convuluted weird story anout Pizza Express and not sweating to deny the photo and call it fake. He’s such an idiot. If he’d responded to the photo by saying ‘I don’t remember this girl and didn’t sleep with her, but the photo may be real as I went to a lot of parties at Ghislaine’s house and posed for pictures if asked, so there many people who would have photos like this who I only met in passimg’.

But that’s what someone innocent would have said. But he isn’t innocent, so…

This photo breaks my heart.

Look at that young girl’s face! Her sparkling eyes!
Full of hope, joy.
This nice woman, she’s been so kind to me, she’s brought me to her house, to meet her friends. It’s a gorgeous house, better than any house I have been in.
And this gorgeous man likes me, look how he has his arm round me! And he’s a prince!
But he really likes me. I can’t believe this. I am so lucky.
For the first time my future looks good…
She looks like my niece. My niece is her age now and honestly it makes me feel sick. I hope they lock him up

I get what you mean, but you need to look at it from Andrews pov.

- he has lost his fancy titles
- he has lost his privileged life of jetting round the world acting important
- everyone thinks hes a perv and a fool
- he has lost all power and influence
- he isnt even a prince anymore and lost any deference. He is basically a commoner.
- he is now stuck in some out of the way country house that he will see as far below him

This, for Andrew, is as bad as it gets (short of jail). Kicking him out the country in exile somewhere (like the Duke of Windsor was) would actually give him more what he wants. He could probably find a rich middle east friend and set up a mini court abroad.

Also question the best diet comment, have you seen the state of him? With no life now I can see him going the way of Henry 8th and eating himself into an early grave
Problem is he does have some power and influence left and may not have lost his life of luxury. He still sees his family. He is at Wood Farm where visitors can be easily sneaked in and out without being seen. He could make money by suggesting to dodgy people that he has the King’s ear and can influence him to consider things or meet people.

Edward was sent off to the Bahamas then went to Francce, but Andrew is going to sit tight in the UK because it’s unlikely he’d be extradited unless charged with a crime.

Also, Wood Farm is quite a luxurious royal residence with staff and lots of facilities. It’s not the expulsion from royal privilege we expected and there are suggestions he’s probably going to stay there and not go to Marsh Farm.

I think the senior royals need to confirm they no longer have any contact with him either face to face or by letter or email so they can say the ‘no contact’ with the royals means he can’t influence or sway any of them. And they need to get him into Marsh Farm pronto.

Most families would go no contact with someone exposed like this anyway.

I don’t understand why him and his odious ex wife haven’t moved to the middle east, I know he had an offer from a wealthy supporter. Surely he’d rather be strutting around a paid for villa in a hot climate compared to smaller accommodation he probably considers a rabbit hutch with the UK weather 🤔
Middle Eastern countries might pop him on a plane to the US to face congress. They don’t have the same human rights laws and his British citizenship wouldn’t protect him there like it does here where he’s protected by our human rights laws etc. I don’t think he will be able to travel abroad again for that reason.

Yes. What info do police and intelligence services here have on Andrew, Epstein and Mandy? They probably can’t release it now as it looks like there might be criminal charges, but they should look into it and release in future.

I would like the monarchy to give us more than a sentence or two on the subject. I'm pro royalty but they can't expect us to be happy with a short comment anymore. It's not good enough. I want to hear a genuine personal take on it and not a script written by someone. It's beyond frustrating and I don't think the public has the patience for this way of dealing with things anymore.

I agree that Charles should have made a statement when he stripped the titles because he was obviously made aware of what has been happening and he could have expressed some sympathy for the victims.

I don't think the others like William need to assume any responsibility for Andrew.
Apologising on behalf of others always seems rather hollow to me

I know that the Wales and William when he was younger likely didn't know what Andrew was doing but I think they could still say something. A statement, a commitment to help trafficking victims, something meaningful, maybe contact Andrews victims or they could find out who the staff were and make sure the police interview them.
