I've never seen the point of having a freedom of a city, so I doubt she'll be fussed.
What does it give you? Free parking? OK that's worth it. Free entry into the Minster?.Bonus as that is freaking expensive. Free scone at Betty's? I'll take it.

I've been wondering this? Can she just walk into the Viking museum and ride on the little train whenever she likes?
Is it an old thing from when cities like York used to close their gates for the night, so people with freedom could come and go as they please? Even so, has no good uses these days.
The only thing I know freedom of the city gives you where I live is being able to let your cows graze on the moor. Does she have cows ?

I was watching Talking Royals earlier and they said despite loads of rumours no one has managed to get even a phone snap of her, so she has good friends hiding her. They did mention Priscilla, someone who wants her to keep quiet will be helping her stay hidden.
She’s probably hiding in plain sight. It’s not like journalists on a story as big as this not able to sniff out the perpetrator
Wherever she is hiding out it will be costing them and not her. She is good at getting through life without parting with money.
