What a liar. He was arrested, not taken in for questioning, and he wouldn’t have gone in his own car and there was nothing voluntary about it.

Blair is blatantly the British PM it’s suggested was involved.

He apparently had an affair with Mrs Murdoch No. 3 who is mentioned quite a few times in the files and seems to have been part of the regular gang. Of course he okay'd it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in there as well. Not convinced everything has been published yet.

I can. I followed two different channels with live broadcast today.

On BBC they said

"Police can initially hold someone for 24 hours and they must be taken to a special custody suite if held for more than six hours. If detectives need longer, they must apply for more time, first to a superintendent and ultimately to a magistrate."

"Typically, an initial arrest in a white collar crime would be for a few hours to allow searches to be conducted and initial questioning to be done.

It is very unlikely that somebody would be held in custody overnight.

Although police can potentially hold someone for 24 hours and get extensions, that really is not very likely.

After that, typically the person who has been arrested is given police bail and a date to return to a police station for potential further questioning.

At some point further down the line - maybe weeks away - there will have to be a decision made by the Crown Prosecution Service and Thames Valley Police about whether to charge him with misconduct in public office."

Thames Valley Police is able to provide an update in relation to an investigation into the offence of misconduct in public office.

On Thursday (19/2) we arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The arrested man has now been released under investigation.

We can also confirm that our searches in Norfolk have now concluded.

Our searches in Berkshire are still underway.

Thames Valley Police will not be making any further statement at this time and will not be holding a press conference or conducting any media interviews in relation to this investigation.

I just would have thought much longer given the severity of the alleged crimes, I expected the search and questioning to of taken much longer. And the police to of made him sweat in the cells
