100% right lovely. There are people that think they are entitled to a service from the NHS and use the ambulance service as a taxi ride.
My GP referred me to hospital as an urgent case 2 months ago for a suspected blood clot on my lung which I was reluctant about. The hospital was crazy but I was incredibly lucky to have been seen, assessed, xrayed and results given within 3 hours. I could not thank any of the medical staff enough, even though it was early evening it was rammed.
A drunk guy 'collapsed' on the floor and the nurse practitioner told me he's in there at least once a week thinking that if he does that he'll be seen sooner. Outlying facilities like community care and addiction services have no money or capacity to support these people so they turn up at A&E.
The amount of people I see on Facebook telling people "just go to a&e" when they can't get doctors appointments etc is infuriating!
That sends me mad! I actually had a discussion with my mum as my uncle was discharged recently yes he’s unwell but he can be seen as an out patient. My mum was moaning and I said have you not seen the news. I also work in the hospital it’s not right!
Yeah it's frustrating when we/family can't get the care we need but everyone piling into a&e isn't going to help the problem!

Well, lastnight Amanda was waxing lyrical about how well her AA meeting went. Cut to today. She’s sitting getting mwi with a motley crew in her house.

The way she was literally hangin out that window last night was ridiculous !! I know she does it for attention and she gets the attention she wants ! but she was 1 little slip away from falling to the ground!! Her pals just as bad sittin do even tryin to stop her! Shes still an absolute mess of lassie tho and she’ll never change !
