She reeks of arrogance. News flash Natalie, it’s not a nice quality to have. Every time I watch her stories she makes me cringe. She thinks she’s Lady of the Manor. I’m sorry Chavlotte is no way near on the scale of the Rushdies or even LA!! Whilst having disdain for them all, I’ve bought off Chavlotte’s selling page and it went in the bin as not fit for the charity shop! She’s way further down the social climbing chain than Natalie and Laura Ann!!!

In Northern Ireland prep schools are only part funded by fees, they still receive government funding. There’s only 1 full private school in Northern Ireland- Rockport. Their fees are astronomical

Have you any idea on what rockports fees are?
For first form?
I know a friend of a friend whose child is attending & I didn’t think the parents were exactly rolling in it

I really can't work out how she got tickets because you had to put your plus ones details (including their passport details) in when you entered the ballot...I know because I entered (didn't get them) and put my other half's details in because his was the only passport I had to hand and then told it was tough if I got them he would have to come haha. So in that case HOW did she get a ticket? You couldn't just swap them/give them to someone else, imagine the security nightmare that would cause

He wasn't personally bankrupt. His business went under, but he was protected personally and it's personal bankruptcy that strikes a chartered accountant off their institute (though there can be exceptions). I'm also chartered and we have mutual acquaintances. I didn't realise he worked at Citi though. I'll have to ask a few friends who work there, would be interested to know his role. Most Belfast jobs are back office, esp IT/HR, I know some accountants who do the risk management type roles or management, it's not like Belfast staff are investment bankers.

Oh good point, it would have been his business and not him personally, I didn't think of that.
I still don't think he works there though, it would be very random. I also had a wee nosy on LinkedIn and there was someone of his name in Citi but the profile didn't match. The Citi guy has worked there for years and would still be in quite a junior role And not related to accounting from what I could see. Keep us posted if your friends have any

It’s the white belt on Natalie’s that is so out of place - a designer dress with a clear waist line on the design and she puts a white belt underneath - this does not look right at all - both trying too hard - lip fillers have also had a top up and looking ridiculous

Looks like we may be going to Ireland (from our home in the USA) for a conference in 2025 (I know, it's a long time from now, but that's how we plan travel)! We will of course extend our trip to Northern Ireland, and I'd hate to base my choices solely on LA's check-ins, but I have a few things on my list of places to try if the chance arises, so I thought you wise Tattlers could weigh in with thoughts on:

What time of year are you planning to travel?

If you're in Ballycastle at Salthouse you HAVE to visit Ursa Minor bakery. It is the best. Salthouse probably the best place to use as a base for the north coast.

In Belfast the Merchant, or Titanic. Eat - how fancy do you like to go?

Anyways I was saying that her cousin the_rorymartin is going on a gifted ski trip. He’s been talking about it on his stories. He hasn’t been gifted clothes for the trip so he’s had to buy them himself. Lol imagine I wonder if LA is going on the same gifted trip?
