If her tummy bothers her, which it clearly does, whether she hides it and hates it or whether she doesn’t hide it, it’s still on her mind enough to bother her. Why doesn’t she put a little effort in reduce her tummy? Holding large around your middle isn’t a sign of beating the evil diet industry system Alison, it’s a sign your body is unhealthy and it could set you up for serious health issues later in life. Belly large is bad news. No one should have to aspire to a size 6 and it is hard to shift belly weight but it wouldn’t take much to make a difference. Reduce bloat, half a stone would make her feel so so so much fitter, healthier and genuinely “body confident”.

It's the way she words things to make it seem more dramatic to suit her agenda ' diet culture' as if dieting is absolutely awful?? I was overweight a few years back. I felt awful in myself and yes I did wear clothes that hid bulges and what suited my body. What is actually wrong with that?? It made me feel more comfortable? I don't believe her for a second that she doesn't try to hide her body. I lost 2 and a half stone and although still not the size I'd like to be, man i felt so much healthier and fitter! Why is she apparently so against weight loss it makes zero sense. Everyone knows extra large is a bad thing and can causes health problems you can't bloody mess with science

You made an incredible change! I lost just over a stone last year and although ideally to be a healthy weight I need to lose another, just losing that little bit really boosted my confidence. Plus I changed my eating habits slowly and for the long term. It is possible and it’s worth the effort.

I’ve lost just under two stone in two years through changing my eating habits, cutting down portion sizes and incorporating more exercise into my lifestyle.

There’s nothing toxic about wanting to be a healthy weight. It only become toxic when people that are a healthy weight become disillusioned to believe they too need to lose more weight.

For someone who bleats on about keeping your opinions to yourself, she ain’t half bitter about people who do choose to diet and change their lifestyles.

I’m all for body positivity and liking who you are, but weight shouldn’t be about looks. Being overweight is unhealthy. It doesn’t matter how you look, it’s what it’s doing to your body.

The fact she has no confidence (her words) and refers to her stomach indicates she is not body confident. She can tell us she is but her leaping to pull apart anybody who dares say something that even slightly goes against her stance proves otherwise.

@Rippedjeanmaybe @Kellyg @Clare I'm at that point where I am starting to change habits and follow the journey amd hopefully be as successful as you all. As you age it gets easier to gain weight and harder or is it slower to shift it! If AP kind of acknowledged that it's important to look after yourself and it's OK to hide your tummy. But she's a work in progress- I dont know. I never really think we should comment on peoples weight- it's their life but she has a responsibility to not share the names of people who she asks to comment t on her reels about her outfits and cos she doesn't agree then it becomes a pile on. Frumpy and unflattering becoming the most offensive words she is looking to find!! That's not ok x

The fake laughing at her Oliver Bonas try on is one of the most tragic things I've ever seen. Dooamine seems to be her latest buzzword and she's really not using it correctly, it winds me right up. She's now morphing into INPO and nothing more than a glorified clothes horse, it's become her entire personality

Ran here to mention the fake laughing! Tragic. And also the many replies to people asking what she bought saying she left empty handed as she’s skint…. on the beg then Alison??? Clearly. I hope OB do not gift her anything.

She shouldn’t have been trying it all on if she couldn’t afford to even buy any of it ffs.

And now she’s back with a poll as to what people liked on her…… she’s such a try hard… begging isn’t a good look Mrs P. I guarantee she will be prancing about in one of the god awful outfits by end of next week

It's all so predictable and pedestrian. At this point I'd be more shocked and impressed by a middle aged woman not wearing a lairy deckchair striped/gingham tablecloth adjacent dress or a lobster/lemon/bonjour t-shirt.

You all look the same.

Agree, I feel deep pity for these 40+ something women who have fallen into this social media “career” and have to hawk themselves online for strangers’ approval. Get a job in the real world and live your real life that’s in front of you. we’ll all be cold in the ground one day and no one will give a shiny tit about whether your weird Amalfi T-shirt should be tucked or untucked. Waste of a life, living it out online.

I thought she didn't care what everyone else thought?

Oliver Bonas; this is surely anti-marketing! This is influencing me not to go. Those clothes look horrendous. Why does she insist on this fashion route when there are LITERALLY HUNDREDS of far superior accounts. She doesn’t have style or taste.

First time commenting on this thread but this mornings reel made me feel the need.
Her comment about not getting involved in what’s app drama- it’s giving “I’m not the type of woman who supports my friends, I’ll turn a blind eye instead”. Probably for fear of being thought of badly. God forbid someone having a back bone.
sorry for the rant.

Are leggings and t-shirts at Disney not just practical as opposed to "hiding"?
