Don’t her parents live next door to the shop? And presumably her husband has family local to them.
And yeah, summer holiday care that children enjoy which those of us who aren’t daringly living in a Swedish sauna pay for.
My family owned a shop (a proper shop that required work) and as a child I played in the shop, the backroom or the garden. I didn't feel hard done by. She's her own boss; her landlord parents aren't going to mind their grandchildren being in the same building as them. It's no big deal, can't see why she's making it one. She is quite extraordinarily privileged.
Don't forget her husband's parents also paid off their mortgage so they're not exactly on the breadline despite what she says...
She’s plenty of money to spend on the things she wants for herself , like the new van she will no doubt claim as her sanctuary and hot foot off in solo on a regular basis. Meanwhile her daughters clothes are tatty and too small
ALWAYS has money for herself, meanwhile the daughters are always getting crap birthdays and wearing tiny clothes. She’s so privileged she can take her kids into work with her, the rest of us pay extortionate prices for Summer childcare

I don’t get why you would stay somewhere in a camper that’s 5mins from your home. Says a lot that husband is going back to the house to sleep in a bed

Was she seriously just sitting there with her book, quite some distance away, whilst her two kids jumped off rocks into the sea? I mean I didn’t see Stu with them? Am I just overreacting? It must’ve been quite deep in that part because one of them dived in head first….
