I feel very much the same. This week especially, I just don't want to see influencer shilling products in vapid ads or showing off their fancy lifestyles. Read the fucking room. If you don't particularly want to go all activist, give some space to those that do. I know some people will say 'life goes on' or 'it's nice to have a distraction' but for me, I find it really distasteful that all these influencers are just carrying on as normal when there's a national reckoning on women's safety in society occurring.

Tbh I would be interested in Alice’s app! She seems a really good pt - much better than say Grace Fit UK or Meggan Grub who only seem to be interested in growing bums

The problem is the Clean Eating movement got a backlash and she started getting a lot of flack, hence why she rebranded to Alice Liveing. The truth is she has massively lost her way - I doubt she has another cookbook in her so she somehow has to stay relevant.

I feel sorry for anyone who has donated their hard earned cash to her given her classless bragging!

I literally have no respect, after the shoe situation and everything it’s clear she is just in her own bubble and that is fine but she needs to remember who her audience are and that some people are going through hell now. They can’t afford a Christmas dinner and they certainly can’t afford to go to the posh Chelsea butcher parsons nose.
I am done with her, she needs to realise some people will never have another normal Christmas again because of health conditions, some families where relying on going to their families for Christmas lunch so they could eat a proper mean but now that has not only been cancelled but they can’t even get hold of a food bank or get together enough to feed their families on Christmas Day.
Some people are living in proper domestic violence and their hope was family would come and see them on Christmas Day and realise the situation.

Sorry I am just so angry at her ignorance and selfishness, they are the 2 worst traits anyone can have and she posses them and this is clear because she is just more interested in showing everyone what she has.....regardless of if she has worked for it, which I’m sure she has worked for a small part of it but still

Totally agree. Her argument is that “her feelings are still valid” as with every other privileged influencer at the moment. They are, but bloody read the room! I am so lucky this year, managing to have a normal(ish) Christmas with parents and sister. But I will not be splashing it all over social media or complaining, and that’s just to my 100ish followers who are pretty much in the same position as me! Alice has followers from so many walks of life and who will have been through actual trauma and she seems to be totally blind to that.

I think I'm done with following Alice now, she is just so far removed from who she used to be. I mean, her daily workouts promoting her friends gym wear company, most of the outfits she wears cost over £200 for a bra and leggings! I am very sure she would never buy them herself And no I'm not jealous, I just think at times like this when most normal folks are going through difficult times, it's pretty insensitive. In fact, I've unfollowed other influencers who are promoting iconic too because I just think it's all wrong!

If she looks soft then I would love to be soft. I think she has put on a healthy amount of weight. I think she looks great. Isn’t she only 5ft? A few pounds of weight on someone that height is always going to look so much more than someone taller!

I’m not much taller than Alice and I completely agree. A few extra pounds on my frame is very noticeable. For what it’s worth, I think she looks great!

She is the one and only person I saw doing this, I think most people have had enough respect and decorum to not brag about their gifts this year. And btw Alice you’re not the only person to be missing your family, be grateful you had a more than wholesome Christmas dinner in your warm and comfortable home with someone you love. There’s many who didn’t even have that.

The Botox is honestly mad at her age. I don't know too much about it but I'd have thought it's one of those things where once you've had it, you have to keep getting it! What a huge commitment to take on at such a young age. Goes totally against what she always preaches about loving your body for what it can do rather than what it looks like.

SAME. I don't want to dislike her but she isn't helping herself. She is gorgeous and seems to have a good personality to boot (when she isn't showing off). She does seem kind. But throughout 2020 her personal content felt tonedeaf.

Sadly, I thought she was so cute and inviting a few years back. I bought her cookbook, and it’s meh. I went to culinary school and will say that the recipes are fairly basic - but that’s good in a way. Some of her followers probably had never cooked before so that’s a good thing.
I wish she’d get back to that person more. I know she can’t go out but what about more eating and proper nutrition etc.

Not a fan of this outfit at all, especially for going out to dinner. It just doesn't seem appropriate. Good on her for being confident enough to wear it. I am slim and toned but as soon as I eat, I bloat up. I couldn't imagine anything worse than eating dinner in a cropped top.
