The cushion for that chair didn’t even match - it looked old and stained and it wouldn’t be like that after a couple days. This girl is an absolute joke.
id love to report her so she stops getting al this stuff.
I’ve worked my a off for the last 20 years and still can’t afford to move out. I’m saving every penny I can - I can afford a deposit but I’m screwed on monthly repayments.
Does she really say can I have this for free I can post it on my instagram?

She's really missed the boat here as she could have been really authentic and a spokeswoman for single mothers but it never about that, was it? It's a cynical ploy to get as much free stuff as possible.
Also, I think it's really unfair that she will be able to buy the property after such a short time thereby taking a home out of the social housing stock.

Does anyone else think she makes these controversial posts to get people arguing on her feed because, like a toddler, any attention is good attention because these companies gift in engagement and follower count? I can’t bide her, met plenty of people like her when I worked in the housing sector, thinks housing benefit is free, will also be on full council tax benefit as well, laughing all the way to paying for her 4.5K fence 🙄 hopefully this new government won’t make it easier for people like her to be a career doley, but I’m afraid they’ll just make it easier

A thought has occurred to me. What if its not a council house and she's said that to me more relatable at the start.

I thought it too. It looks a nice house/street from the the outside. The government housing where I am from is not like that atall

I suspect

If she is using the garden for personal use, then it’s not a business expense.
Yeah, it was outrageous she said that. I hope she at least gets HMRC asking questions, but I am starting to think she's not being truthful about alot of it. It's the only way it makes sense. Like some sort of expose by the daily mail on influencer.

A couple of things make me think it's not a council house. Her getting the house so quickly, she says the house was empty for a year before she moved in and all the work that was done on it. Councils don't tend to prioritise you if you're 'homeless at home', there's people with more priority, such as those in hostels and BnBs or those who are actually sleeping rough. Social landlords are really struggling with collection rates ATM so they tend not to have long void periods, also they tend not to re-plaster while rooms and they do asbestos checks regularly - in the last 4 years we've had three asbestos checks. Also, you can't get your housing costs covered if you aren't resident and she was posting all over social media about not being resident. I'll happily admit I could be wrong because councils and RSLs work with the information they've got and can bypass rules and regs if they think there's a reason but I just don't really believe it's a council house, I genuinely think she's bought it

I think she's bought it or something similar like rent to buy, even just little things like calling the neighbours 'renters' disparagingly.

I’ve wondered the same about it not being a council house. Although last time this was mentioned someone said they’d seen it on the council website (? Don’t know how it works!) but the fact she said it was empty for so long is bizarre, surely not in current times and current demand?
I cannot believe she has 350k followers… like honestly, how?!
Also those shorts are gross and look like someone’s dad’s boxers.

She showed the picture of the house on the council website
There are many reasons not to like her but they is a reach. She didn't say she gets it for free cos it's a business expense she is paying for the garden and got the grass free I think. You don't get things for free cos it's under a business you receive tax back at the end of the yeat

It’s definitely a council house. She posted the listing on TikTok when she first bid for it

She won’t receive tax back - she can offset legitimate business expenses against her income tax. Buying a garden fence for your home is not a legitimate business expense. If she got the plastic, fake grass for free - but has to promotes/name the company - she will have to declare it as income.

maybe it’s an ex council house and her parents have purchased it and she’s renting it from them, then they may sell it to her in the future ??
