My Mum went and ordered a sofa from them on the weekend and I’ve made her cancelYou are so right. Now that I know Sofology gifted that sofa, I would NEVER buy from them. It's completely off-putting and a slap in the face to real customers frankly.
You have hit the nail right on the head!!!!!!!I almost feel like the pen was on purpose as an addition to the ad to show how wonderful Sofology are with their customer service??
Ding, ding, ding!I almost feel like the pen was on purpose as an addition to the ad to show how wonderful Sofology are with their customer service??
i bet she drew on the sofa rather than remiDing, ding, ding!
It’s most likely part of her contract with sofology that her ad for them needs to showcase both the sofa and their insurance policy.
Having Remi conveniently draw on the chair ticks all the boxes of giving her more content, whilst fulfilling her ad requirements and also her knowing that they’ll sort out the ‘accidental’ damage.
Ahh fair point.Don’t want to defend her, but I’m pretty sure that’s the new chair she’s been gifted as it was a different colour from the sofa
Yeah. I'm thinking that it's part of the ad deal tbh. To promote the insurance and show everyone how easy it is to claim blah blah blah etcAccidentally on purpose me smells a rat![]()
Ah, snap! Didn't see this before I postedI almost feel like the pen was on purpose as an addition to the ad to show how wonderful Sofology are with their customer service??
Ugh! And how much does she earn?! Why do I work 12 hour shifts again?!She works a total of 6/7 hours per week, ffs I’m in the wrong bleeping job!!!!View attachment 3098691
Everything I learned about the UK welfare system from watching Corrie is wrong then, Chesney and Gemma living in a 3 bedroom house with their 6 kids on the breadline and can’t get a council house but Alex is on the list for a few months and gets a lifetime tenancy![]()
I don’t actually know where she is from but here in the North West it’s really hard to get a house. I waited over 3 years for a council house and that was 20 years ago! Tbf at that time there was areas that only had a waiting list of one or two months but those areas were rough And I wanted to stay near my mum. Now though, there is no area that you’re only going to be waiting a couple of months for a house. Unless you’re in band 1 then you’re waiting a lot longer than she did. I’m thinking she’s somehow got herself into the highest band with some bull sob story to get a house so soon. It makes no sense how someone with a baby who isn’t actually homeless, would get a council house so soon when there are families who have been in b&b’s for years all squashed up in one room. I think she’s played on MH or DV.
To be fair I’ve never known anything quite like it. It’s certainly not as easy as that (or easy at all!!) around here anyway. I know people who’ve been made (genuinely) homeless with no real practical support system and they’re offered one room in a crappy b&b for them and multiple children.
The dilly-dallying around for (what seemed like) ages after she got the keys summed it up for me really. She wasn’t in dire straits, and she didn’t desperately need that home, or she’d have made a much quicker turnaround.
I think they definitely played on it and wrote a letter saying that she couldn’t stay with them anymore and it was affecting hers MH and the families and it was having a bad effect on her child etc etcI would guess that her very supportive family who she holidays with “kicked her out”
