I almost feel like the pen was on purpose as an addition to the ad to show how wonderful Sofology are with their customer service??

You are so right. Now that I know Sofology gifted that sofa, I would NEVER buy from them. It's completely off-putting and a slap in the face to real customers frankly.
My Mum went and ordered a sofa from them on the weekend and I’ve made her cancel 😂😂😂

She gets me when I’m passionate about things 💁‍♀️

You have hit the nail right on the head!!!!!!!

I would have been proper MORTIFIED if that was my child not even 48hrs after the sofa was ‘donated’ she’s harping on about insurance etc I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a ploy to make ‘that company’ shine in an amazing light at how quickly and faultlessly that chair is repaired - more than likely replaced!!

Ding, ding, ding!

It’s most likely part of her contract with sofology that her ad for them needs to showcase both the sofa and their insurance policy.

Having Remi conveniently draw on the chair ticks all the boxes of giving her more content, whilst fulfilling her ad requirements and also her knowing that they’ll sort out the ‘accidental’ damage.

My 18 month old would eat the pen. I mean all kids are different so maybe mines not as advanced 🤣 but I don’t think he’d hold it long enough to scribble all over a chair?

I’m so happy to have found this thread! I was typing alexwren and nothing was showing up so I thought I must be the only person who disliked the snotty little brat 🤣

I like renovation videos so I didn’t mind her at first but then it just seemed like she was bragging that she had a council house and I was so annoyed that it took her forever to move into her house when there are genuine homeless people out there who have been waiting years for a house. And then she was moaning about her mattress that was given to her for free from the council and then when she was gifted a new one she threw the council one into the garage. She needs to start saving some of that money that she’s making because once her garden is done then people are going to lose interest in her account because she’s not interesting at all. She only gained followers because she was doing up her council house and she’s almost finished bleeping that up so there will be nothing else to watch because she’s boring as duck, she’s a stuck up cow and she’s just a head. Rant over 🤣

I’m all for different sofas and accent chairs but the combination she picked literally doesn’t flow together what so ever?? Like I don’t get it of all the choice she had 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also I’m so gutted she’s best mates with ‘tatt family’ because that account I actually LOVE! Feel like Alex isn’t good enough for her 😂😂

Everything I learned about the UK welfare system from watching Corrie is wrong then, Chesney and Gemma living in a 3 bedroom house with their 6 kids on the breadline and can’t get a council house but Alex is on the list for a few months and gets a lifetime tenancy 🤔🤣

To be fair I’ve never known anything quite like it. It’s certainly not as easy as that (or easy at all!!) around here anyway. I know people who’ve been made (genuinely 👀) homeless with no real practical support system and they’re offered one room in a crappy b&b for them and multiple children.
The dilly-dallying around for (what seemed like) ages after she got the keys summed it up for me really. She wasn’t in dire straits, and she didn’t desperately need that home, or she’d have made a much quicker turnaround.

I don’t actually know where she is from but here in the North West it’s really hard to get a house. I waited over 3 years for a council house and that was 20 years ago! Tbf at that time there was areas that only had a waiting list of one or two months but those areas were rough And I wanted to stay near my mum. Now though, there is no area that you’re only going to be waiting a couple of months for a house. Unless you’re in band 1 then you’re waiting a lot longer than she did. I’m thinking she’s somehow got herself into the highest band with some bull sob story to get a house so soon. It makes no sense how someone with a baby who isn’t actually homeless, would get a council house so soon when there are families who have been in b&b’s for years all squashed up in one room. I think she’s played on MH or DV.

I would guess that her very supportive family who she holidays with “kicked her out”

I think they definitely played on it and wrote a letter saying that she couldn’t stay with them anymore and it was affecting hers MH and the families and it was having a bad effect on her child etc etc
Wouldn’t surprise me if she went to the doctors and played on depression to get a letter of him and the HV too.

I’m sure I read once that she claimed it wasn’t safe at her Dads where she was living? She seems to have very supportive grandparents though, so why not live there. Very convenient that she didn’t try to start her social media career until after she was settled in her council house!

I’m from the same area as her. I applied in August, had to wait around 50 days before I could be highest priority. I got a 2 bed house in December
