It certainly seems so. I can't help but cringe and shudder when she attempts to be sexy and sensual for the camera. The way she tries to pose like a supermodel, sensually applying lipsticks or tinted lip balms by pouting seductively and sensually patting her lips and then giving a self-satisfied grin into the camera with air-kiss and pout. It always looks like she's so smug about how good she thinks she looks but she's enamoured with a fake version of her physical appearance. The way she gazes at herself dreamily as if to say, "Yeah, that's right, people. I'm pretty bleeping hot and I won't apologise for it."

I notice such a change in how Alex poses on her own IG content versus how awkwardly she poses when she's at an event or marketing retreat with other beauty influencers. When she has to be in a group photo with other industry types, I think she poses awkwardly and looks self-conscious because she probably knows, she can't edit herself heavily in a group photo. I also think she looks self-conscious speaking at marketing events at Harrods and wherever else she does her talks. She must be thinking on some level, "tit, people can see what I *really* look like right now. Gawd, I hope everyone is too stupid to have noticed how much I filter myself on Instagram."

Is the Chanel water tint foundation very sheer or does it offer just enough coverage to even out skin tone?

The water tint isn't a foundation. It's a glowing based, a bit like the by terry serum but more subtle and healthy looking, no coverage at all. Most of the coverage will come from the Laroche Posay sunscreen, that one has decent coverage and you can make it sheer or more heavy depending on what suits you!

Another outrageously dishonest statement about not using filters. She denies it outright every bleeping time as if the evidence isn't staring us in the face.

"I am using bright lights though so you can see details" ?! Details? Give me a bleeping break! You can't see ANY "details" which I would call 'human skin texture'. You can't see how foundation sits on her skin because every damn post is so heavily blurred and insanely over-lit.

Her jawline and chin look extremely altered today; it's been shortened and slenderised with a filter/app and she will still say she has not used any filters. I am never not shocked at her dishonesty. It's remarkable.

I notice Alex appears sooooo much nicer on TikTok. On IG, she's much more curt and reactionary to negative comments and they get deleted but on TikTok, she's extra nice and civil for some reason.

Anyway, her intentional and persistent dishonesty makes her an mole in my eyes.

She's SO heavily blurred/smoothed out with filters that when this late 40-something woman smiles, somehow, she shows NO smile lines!

"I don't use filters", my ass! HOW? How is she this ridiculously dishonest?! She knows we have eyes, right? It's akin to Kylie Jenner denying lip fillers when she went from thin lizard lips to an Angelina Jolie-esque pout overnight and it's akin to Khloe and Kim denying their BBLs.

Look, I know it's pathetic, petty and wrong that I come here to rant about Alex as incessantly as I do - I truly don't have a problem with anyone else on social media - but holy duck her dishonesty is astonishing! It's just off-the-charts deceitful.

I see women leaving comments, praising her skin, expressing how envious they are of Alex's seemingly freakishly flawless complexion - they sound like they yearn to have skin like Alex and I find it so unethical of Alex to just say 'Thanks! You're so sweet' and never mention that she uses enhancements to present herself in the most flattering light.

I follow the fabulous makeup artist, Erin Parsons and she uses bright lights and beauty filters a lot too but I still adore her content and I really like her because every time someone praises her for looking so flawless, she urges them to be aware that it's all "smoke and mirrors" and she responds to compliments, explaining how she uses ring lights, beauty filters and flattering angles and jokes about how her real 41 year old face does not actually look like that. If Alex was just honest - just a tiny bit more honest, I wouldn't be irked.
