She looks so lovely in these photos. I hope one day she can see it herself

I think these photos of Alex from the Vichy event last night are really nice but notice how she’s strategically covering her chin in almost every photo? I will say I think she looks great though.
These don’t classify as ‘in the wild’ pics though. They’re taken by a professional editorial photographer.

That doesn't even look like her preferred fake version of herself! All these replicant Alex Steinherrs running around London!

I just don't understand it at all. Those photos look more like an anime character than a real life human. Also, how would putting an overly filtered photo of yourself into the world make you feel any better about yourself? Surely it must make her feel worse about herself, the contrast between the filtered images and how she really looks?

During her live with Lisa Snowdon, there was a moment where she was noticeably sucking in her cheeks as Lisa Snowdon discussed the NipFab product and it just looked so silly to me. Lisa is just being “normal” in front of the camera and it’s like Alex can’t be in the moment and switch off her dedication to vanity for a second. If I were having a conversation with someone who was sucking in their cheeks like this when I was chatting to them, I’d be tempted to stop and ask “What are you doing?!”

But then she’d smile undoing the illusion and quickly revert back to a pouty vanity pose again ! Girl, just be natural! Relax! Not all of us have to look like sex kittens all the damn time.

I’m glad I was told about this thread... I came across her via Estese and I can’t believe she’s 44. Was she already wealthy?

I think her mum looks adorable, but that is by the by.

Alex’s usual needlessly “sensual & tantalising” lipstick application content posted today VERSUS how she looked in the NipFab Instagram live she did with Lisa Snowdon yesterday View attachment 2640598View attachment 2640599View attachment 2640600View attachment 2640601View attachment 2640602View attachment 2640603

The blurring filters were turned up HIGH on the live yesterday. She appeared SO blurry on the live, she almost looked like a watercolour portrait.
GOD, this looks like two different people. The amount of manipulation is INSANE. The woman is SICK IN THE HEAD AND NEEDS HELP.

If you could see her real face in a line up and then compared her to one of her filtered pictures, you would never in a million years match the 2! She is literally unrecognisable. How can it be okay? I cannot wait for the day when something is done about this.
People / friends / colleagues probably never say anything because it will be perceived as bullying. So we all have to just watch this blatant manipulation of her face , whilst she makes money from the lies.
she literally contorts her face in to an entirely different head! She has bags under her eyes in all of the “ in the wild” shots.

Alex, Lorna Luxe and that nut job from Consultant Clinic are by far the most extreme filterers out there. And no one gives a fuck.
You are right. It doesn’t matter how diplomatically or politely one may attempt to confront Alex about her beauty filter abuse, she will block anyone who calls her out directly on her channels, and nobody will call her out publicly because we all know it is likely to be dismissed as bullying.

It is incredibly frustrating and disheartening to see Alex be so shamelessly and wilfully deceitful and profit from it.

And yes, although there’s a handful of us on this forum that are bothered by Alex’s dishonest and unethical practices, it sure feels like the majority do not give a fuck that content creators like Alex who make a lot of money or at the very least, receive a lot of perks - aren’t called out for blurring and editing their faces.

Alex is and has been presenting a CGI face for YEARS now. The sponsorship deals continue to roll in so she’s laughing. 😞

You are right, If you just saw a natural picture of you you wouldn’t think anything of it. She is an attractive woman who does have good skin. But when you compare it to the filtered version it makes her look odd almost with a very wide chin and face purely because of the alien pointy chin the filter gives her.

I was surprised she posted this. Is this natural or edited?!

Well, there's definitely a beauty filter on. Both of them look beauty filtered and smoothed out. Sometimes, it's just a case of taking a brightly lit photo (over-exposed) that isn't HD and almost anyone looks good with that kind of photographic quality.

BTW, This is "FiltersGoneWild". I Left Tattle when I was really busy dealing with life and thought I'd quit discussing A.S for good but I'm back. I couldn't reclaim my old username so had to register from scratch again. Thought I'd lost interest in discussing the dishonesty of Alex Steinherr but today, I went on TikTok and even though I don't follow her on TikTok, her TikTok LIVE session popped up and I watched her speak for quite a while and I was triggered again when she suddenly lost her temper and launched into an impassioned rant about how she was "so sick" of all the "stupid questions" because people kept asking her:
> Do you use botox?
> Do you have fillers?
> How old are you?

It felt really awkward and uncomfortable when she looked triggered, like she'd lost her patience and I don't know why but it felt really unpleasant when she snapped, "I'm so sick of answering all these stupid questions!!!!" BUT then at the end of her LIVE, she thanked everyone for this "wonderful community" and how grateful she was for everyone joining the live. I was like 😲 Are you f**king kidding me?

The vast majority of questions and comments were so positive and people were praising her skin and only two or three people kept asking about botox, fillers and her age. It really surprised me when she got tetchy and snapped. It really wasn't warranted in my opinion. I just thought, is this all it takes to offend and trigger you?! Nobody made snide, insulting comments. It was literally just "Are you sure you don't use botox? Your forehead looks so smooth." I did not comment at all. I was just observing what she had to say about skincare.

TikTok users were praising her so heavily for how remarkably perfect her skin is even though she was blatantly using a smoothing filter BUT as usual, she suggested that NO beauty filters were in use. Look at the evidence below. THAT face is BLURRED and over-lit as usual.

Exactly. And people / brands ARENT BLIND. If they’ve seen her in real life they know this is not what she looks like. The brands are part of the problem because they are driven by sales and greed and very few seem to give an actual shit about what these influencers do to their faces to sell their products. It’s appalling.
I’ve reported her loads of times and nothing happens and SHE ( along with thousands of others) know that nothing happens so they continue.
That woman that did the #filterdrop campaign did it with Lorna luxe ( I’m over there most of the time). LL is a shocker for filters and altering her size and made a mockery of the whole thing, but brands don’t care. And Instagram certainly doesn’t.
Yes. Depressingly, it sure seems like Alex can deceive and profit off a fake image without consequence.

I so wish some bold, gutsy journalist would do an exposé on Alex and her shameless face editing in a major publication.

Meanwhile, it feels like 80% of Alex’s content these days is just videos of her applying blush in an exaggerated cutesy manner whilst pouting in that “God damn, I’m so beautiful” way.

As a photographer who does her own retouching and therefore spends oodles of time looking at pores from up close: no light in the world makes skin look like this. And why does the light suddenly stop "correcting" around her eyes? Pull the other one...
I know you are absolutely right. I have a few friends who have incredibly beautiful skin and I can never really see their pores BUT even the most beautiful, flawless complexion does not look like this on camera. Any half-reasonably intelligent person can see there are smoothing filters being used here. I cannot find a single image of Alex's face from any of her social media platforms that have not been blurred/smoothed out. EVERY damn photo is treated with a beauty filter. It's maddening that someone who harps on and on about how great her skin is cannot bear to show us raw, high-def, 100% unfiltered images of her face without ring lights. You have to go to YouTube or look at third-party content to see what she really looked like. She's a 48-year-old, German-Austrian white woman who eats a lot of sugar. I've seen her in person. She has wrinkles, eye bags and skin texture like the rest of us. Her wilful dishonesty makes me cringe. I think her dishonesty is absolutely despicable.

It’s outrageous that Sisley have paid her to do a TikTok ad for a skincare foundation and she’s championing its ’blurring effect’ which pisses me off massively because look at this! The blurring effect is from the blurring filters & mega-FaceTuning!

Her audacity seriously never ceases to amaze me. She’ll willingly deceive her followers with her full chest out of ludicrous vanity and for money.

Look at these stills. Alex is presenting this ridiculously hyper-perfected cartoon version of what she wishes she looked like. She’s sick in the head.

Did anyone catch this video of Alex - paid promotion for La Mer? View attachment 2977598View attachment 2977599View attachment 2977600View attachment 2977601View attachment 2977602View attachment 2977603
Her face looks even weirder than usual because the filters are doing something extra strange
This is SO far to removed from what any human being looks like in person never mind what Alex herself looks like
---
I mean, seriously?! Be for f**king real ALEX

and it’s outrageously unethical that this is a PAID ad for La Mer. Using an INSANELY filtered image of her face. This is not the 49 year old influencer we see to our left below. It just shouldn’t be legal to do this.

I don’t think it is. Report her to the asa - I have sent in so many there’s no point me doing any more as I think they ignore me! I don’t even get a reply.

The industry people must laugh at her as they know how she looks in real life
She is very pretty without the filters. The candid double chin shot is unfortunate, but we all have unflattering photos/angles. She's 47. Why does she have to use the bolied egg filter? On Trinny's haircutting video a couple of years ago, she looks great without the filters.
