She truly hates herself doesn’t she? Which is a shame as she’d be fab in her own skin. The beauty industry has done a number on her

Will Sunday Facials - with the same, repetitive format and the ridiculously filtered alien face - just be a weekly occurrence until Alex enters retirement?
Bish needs to switch up her content.

I know this aesthetic is nothing new but geez. Look at how severely distorted her face is! Considering how round and chubby her face is in real life, the proportions she has shrunk her lower face/chin to is so extreme. She is shameless with her face editing. Absolutely shameless. How does she bring herself to do this? Does she not think for a second, “I can’t make my face look more snatched and gaunt than Bella Hadid! Caroline Hirons, Sam Chapman & Amélia Liana know what I **really** look like! I'll just come off as a right psycho!” But no. She just bloody goes for it. Then she’ll tell us. Look guys! I’m just genetically lucky. Ask anyone who knows me. I really actually do look this great.

Riveting.

The careful vanity posing never stops.

Genuinely think this is a nice, recent photo of Alex. Genuinely great skin and she has a pretty face.

---
This is a good shot of her as she is

---
She doesn’t and shouldn’t need to alter her face shape so drastically on IG
Look at the drastic difference in lower face size and shape. And she’s not a hollow cheeked gal in person like 90s Kate Moss

---
This is what she goes to great lengths to hide from her socials

Back to this post (sorry - playing catch up)...

I honestly think there is something in this. It's sad, but what is damaging is that she's not just a random influencer (that would be bad enough) but actually a beauty editor with vast influence. She was Glamour Beauty Director for aeons and still has a certain 'authority' in terms of real influence. And yet she is projecting this entirely fake, male gaze, non-progressive beauty aesthetic to her fans who many most likely also have 'issues'. And encouraging them to spend money on (usually expensive) products that likely won't do much to achieve something that's ENTIRELY ARTIFICIAL.

Where is the responsibility of the PRs and brands? I honestly think this is quite serious. It's sad for Alex but also wrong that she is effectively being encouraged by the brands paying her.

Promoting a £229 retinol product from MediK8 whilst she’s filtered AF.
“Hey gullible suckers, watch me rave about how this product gets me the amazing results I want as I crank the blurring filters up and adjust the dimensions of my jawline.”
For someone who repeatedly declares how good her skin is, she just refuses to show her skin in high def with zero filters or ring lights.

---
The zoom in always exposes her. 95% of her complexion is heavily blurred and smoothed out with filters. You can particularly notice beauty blurring filters around her eyes. Not a single expression line or any human skin texture at 48.

I have to take a deep breath when I read comments like this

She's a fraud who amps up the fake filters to sell stuff to support her cushy lifestyle while relying on being an authority in the beauty industry all these years, that's all there's to it, and also she's vain beyond belief.

She does NOT use filters, guys. Just ask anyone who knows her and they’ll tell you she truly does look like an upside down egg AI humanoid in real life.

Alex more than 5 years ago Vs Alex today at 48

Just a few short weeks ago, this was Alex

But yeah okay … somehow she shape-shifted into this today.

Does anyone believe for a second she really wanted to teach us about salon hair colouring techniques? Me thinks someone just wanted to showcase their fake hotness. The way she makes love to the camera with her smouldering facial expressions.

Gezus you can really tell she's eating up these fake pictures of herself, the smug is like a stench coming off them... good lord lady, you only look like Wonder Woman with NASA quality filters.

Noone looks like this in real life, even that chin is so so fake

Why has no person spoken up about this? They all ham on using fske filters but like her photos? Are ppl scared of her?

No idea, it really is completely bizarre. I wonder if those younger influencer luvvies talk about her behind her back on these trips.

I would be so surprised if none of those younger YouTube influencers that she was in Versailles with like Fleur DeForce and Amelia Liana NEVER had a private conversation about how severely Alex abuses beauty filters. I mean, how can anyone not want to talk about it?! It is so weird and remarkable. It's the elephant in the room.

I can't imagine mutual acquaintances of Alex, who aren't her true friends wouldn't have had at least one instance where one said to the other "OMG Have you noticed how strongly Alex uses beauty filters??! I mean, that just isn't what she looks like when we meet up with her!"
---
You're not even supposed to look like that after a full Vogue beauty editorial retouch. This is ridiculous.
Right?? Even Allure magazine covers don't photoshop/filter this hard

Isn’t there somewhere she can be reported? How dare she advertise skincare using filters!!? Is that even allowed?? Never mind the idiots fawning over her skin saying it’s flawless. Are they completely thick!??

Depending on my mood, this pose either makes me cringe or makes me smirk

Guys, if I posed like this on social media, my friends and siblings would crucify me with wise cracks about how ridiculous I’m being. If you’re not a model or entertainment performer, it is kinda funny to be doing this not for comedy purposes.

---
Again … in real life, she’s just not serving the I could’ve been a supermodel vibe she’s attempting on Instagram and TikTok
