It does seem though that you can’t talk about any type of body size, shape, weight loss without getting absolutely battered by Alex and her cronies!! I have gone from 10 stone ED to 14st when in depression and bouncing between the two my whole adult life. I am on a GLP1 and it’s changed my life, not just weight wise but also just how I feel, how I think etc. I know it’s hard to hear stories of weight loss etc but also we can’t just have bopo one type of body and not all bodies. I feel like I’ve got a way to go with weight loss but wanting to lose weight for positive reasons isnt a bad thing and like with anything I dont want to see I scroll on.

Absolutely and I agree GLP1s are life changing for people but I hate that everytime I'm in a social setting now it's like being back 10 15 years ago I lost x lbs this week I bought this size 10
It's all different friends groups and families I find it totally toxic to be back here.
My brother used mounjaro to quit smoking , he's been trying for 30 years and 1 week on mounjaro hes off them. Almost a year now. So I completely agree the GLP1s are fabulous but I hate the diet culture rit talk that's crept back in.

Alex could do with discussing the good side of them too without bashing

That’s my issue, the bashing. She’s missed any nuance and completely demonised them, their podcast on it was the same. I get the damage of people who don’t meet the criteria taking them as an ‘easy’ fix but she’s really looking down on those who are using them as prescribed, and used correctly they’re a life changing tool. If she’s going to swing at anything, it should be the ease of procurement.

I felt she was quite tempted on the podcast episode they recorded about it! Initially she seemed to think it was just weight loss, but when the guest then explained that it cut out food noise, she was almost interested!

Oh interesting - I’ve just looked and I only listened to the first one, all of the feedback in the comments of that is that they don’t explore to positives. I’ll listen to the one with Sasha.

Yes, the podcast was appealing, very poorly researched and only looking for one side of the story.

I tend to find the podcast has gone that way in general. I used to quite like it, they had some great, varied and interesting guests on. Their bits at the start made me cringe so I skipped through them! Now every other week it's either talking about how horrible men are or how diet culture has ruined the world. Boring, haven't listened for a while.

I don't know much about hair, but I'm sure having extensions isn't supposed to be sensible if you're suffering with hair loss?

Terrible outfit Tuesday is back!! She could wear so much nice stuff she’s really attractive but these outfits make no sense and make her look a bit mad!

Everything she does is ad, gifted or a bloody link which she would make something from. Her sister is so desperate!!

Most of the negative comments on women's bodies i see, about 95%, I see on Alex's feed when she reposts them to say how awful it is.

I don’t agree with sending comments to influencers no matter how you feel … but those jeans do look awful on her 🤣

Is it really necessary to make an entire reel about the fact someone doesn’t like your jeans?
