Popped into Lidl yesterday and agree, it does feel like it's gone downhill. It just felt rather unloved and uncared for and wasn't a big branch either.

Picked up a few items and the deluxe cherry and chocolate ganache pots were nice but there was a weird oily top to it which didn't match up with the ingredients. The wine was lovely though 😅

The Lidl chilean carmenere is nice £7.49 😁

Interesting, it's the opposite round here, our Aldi is ok for veg, awful for fruit and Lidl generally is better for both. That said, I went in twice last week and Lidl had no bananas or baking potatoes, and the avocado I bought was awful (I normally get really nice ones from there).

Are Lidl ok?! WTF is this offer? I didn’t think they could top my last offer which was 35% of a jar of dried Rosemary !!

Lidl gave me free ribs and free ham
Coupons this week. I hardly go now because Aldi is more convenient to where I’ve moved to and I generally prefer their offering. It did also coincide with the whole point / loyalty card changes. Popped in last week as was visiting family and these came through this week.
