I bought the Aldi dehumidifier today for a small bedroom when I don’t want to use the tumble drier. And tips or advice? I’ve not had one before! Thanks.

I used one for ages before my son 'borrowed' it. I put my clothes airer in the bathroom using a extension cable and used it overnight. You will be surprised by the amount of water it collects so don't forget to empty the collector box.

Same here. So much water! But it dries clothes wonderfully and they are so soft and crease free (if you shake the creases out before you hang them up). Warms the room up too.

Oooh I had an Aldi dehumidifier for years which finally gave up the ghost last winter so I need to get myself back to Aldi. They really do make a huge difference to drying clothes.

I bought the aldi foundation a few weeks ago (luminous something I think), supposed to be a dupe of Charlotte Tibury. I've been using it almost daily and I love it. I never wear foundation because it never sits right on my skin but this is amazing. Sadly I cannot find it anymore. I've been to 3 aldis local to me and nada. Gutted.
Have you a photo, we can look locally.

I tried the chicken Yorkshire wrap. Honestly, I thought it was grim. It went in the bin

Close the window, any trickle vents, close the door while it's running. No vases of water etc. You need to create a sealed box for it to work efficiently. 🙂

Yep, all liquid out. Plug in sink if you're using it in the bathroom. Hope I don't sound patronizing, but it's surprising how many folk doing know.
No, no. I’d rather know to get the most out of the dehumidifier. It’s in a spare bedroom with a singled bed and a wardrobe. I’ve closed the window and shut the door.

I've got a friend with three kids, drowning in laundry, can't afford to tumble dry, she'd given her dehumidifier away as it didn't work! I lent her mine and gave her and the kids strict instructions, she was amazed. 😄

Well it’s been on for 4 hours and my trousers and long sleeved top are nowhere near dry 🤣 maybe I’m impatient 🙈 should just stick to my drier even though it shrinks my trousers. Google is telling me to put my heating on or put a fan in the room. I didn’t buy one for all of this palaver. The fan stictly stays in my bedroom. Anyway… I won’t divert this thread anymore.

After 4 hours with my dehumidifier, most of clothes are almost dry. Especially the clothes that are right by the dehumidifier. Is it in a small room with the door closed?
