I wouldn’t, having seem people manhandling the goodsI've just been to Lidl with my teenager and I think he is traumatised for life after witnessing an older woman drop a roll from the bakery on the floor, look around furtively and then return it to the shelf. Not sure if he will ever eat from there again.
I saw a man picking up rolls in Lidl squeezing them with his bare hands then put them back yesterday .

Looks like they have changed the branding as they had bottles and they looked different to normal.Just been Aldi and there where no lilt and fanta lemon knocks in cansit was the only reason I went there instead of somewhere that doe branded product as I also wanted the squares with cornflakes.
Yes, I wouldn't buy the Aldi garlic bread crisps again, they were ok but there was like a kind of burnt garlic taste or a chemically taste off them.
And I had been so looking forward to trying them!
Anybody been into Aldi to buy the 1.5ltr of Le Grand Poulet Rose £9.99 instead of £11.99 ? I thought I would have a look at it whilst I was in there earlier and it was still at the higher price. Luckily there was a member of staff stocking up the wine so I asked her which it was and with a quite an exasperated look on her face said - not our fault, head office. So I engaged her in a nice conversation and she told me that head office hadn't changed the price on whatever they had to do and was still coming up at the higher price and they were still trying to put it right but it was giving staff grief (not from me).
Outcome is she told me to buy Primitivo - Rosato - Puglia at £5.29 bottle. 12.5% as it is much nicer. Not tasted the Poulet but this one is nice, just had a glass with lunch.... Well it is Bank Holiday after all.

The magnum of Poulet rosé is still available in a small branch in NW London, as I discovered earlier. However, I get the feeling it's not selling too well because even the basket stand by the tills had some.
They have plenty of it in my branch but only for £11.99 as they can't discount it at the till.

I'd recommend it, very nice and only 7.99 euro, I think it was.
I see the "chicken wine" is on offer at 7.99e this week in Aldi.
At last I got the 1.5 ltr of Poulet in Aldi today for £9.99 and had a look what it was the equivalent of a pub measure. Wethers large wine at 250 mls equates to 6 in that bottle. Drinking one now - OK.
Had a Moroccan sizzle steaks today - pack of 4 /£6 - which I cook all together as I live on my own and eat in the week and they were nice except one that was a bit gistley but cut that off and have bought the Chipotlie ones today.

We've had a questionable Lidl bakery item this week, it went straight into the bin but I feel we ought to have complained.

I did complain about a seriously underweight packaged item once. Like should have weighed 300g but was about 20g!
