Thank you for explaining to me!

Having to spend £60 to get a free bakery item that will be at most £2 (the speculoos muffin cost me this much) is diabolical work from them
It is definitely diabolical! But if you do happen to get a free bakery item, get a sourdough or something, I always pick the most expensive item to get the most out of it

I love Lidl but I don’t like this new points system at all.

The double points on fruit is a load of rubbish too. I bought bananas, blueberries, raspberries, pears and peaches yesterday.

I got an extra 10 points 🤬

All Ive had is the korean bbq prawn crackers (get them every time and they are lush)
Didnt really fancy any of the meals (apart from Lemon chicken which I might pick up tomorrow)

Did anyone else get a free bakery item randomly added to their card this week? I’ll be using it on a seeded sourdough as I’m obsessed with the stuff and may as well get a higher cost item rather than a pastry. I’ll be using the new app tomorrow for the first time so will see how the points add up after a weekly shop but really think it’s a downgrade from the previous system from what I’ve seen

Yep, any item from the bakery, I used it yesterday.

I got nothing, spent £120 on my weekly shop and no discounts or freebies. Furious 😂

Have managed to secure the goods in Aldi - cleansing balm and that Kale Wonder Liquer.

Also picked up the Moisture Boost Moisturizer

I got 3 balms. Might have to give some away if I react to it, as I seem to have developed Rosacea since I last used it. I remember it was quite perfumed. 🤞I don't react.
They sold out in my store as everything does normally.😥
So I went to the Aldi in a heavy OAP area and there were loads of balms.🥰
I think they must have thought I was a shoplifter as I charged in, no hand baskets, so grabbed them and started rushing to the front of the building for the tills.
I forgot they take you down to the floor in Aldi.😳
The bloke on the self service tills was looking at me like he thought I was mad buying so many balms.
I don't care it's aeons since they last had them in!

Tell me what is the "heavy OAP" area - is is what I have always called the tupenny table. (2p) The Middle Isle. o_O 😄 I am an OAP and must find this area.

As I'm a secret agent I can't divulge this information. Otherwise I'd have to kill you😏, but it's oop North.
Just think of an area where a lot of OAP's live and you then won't have to break the land speed record to get anything decent!!!😁
I was forced to carry on to Asda afterwards to make it worth the petrol, where I was then forced to buy some clothes.
I'm really enjoying their range for summer, but I have to keep going back as the stuff sells out so fast in my size🤬

I picked up 4 balms and 4 moisture boost moisturisers. Gave no ducks about anyone looking at me loading my basket, I’ve waited MONTHS for them to come back in stock 🤣

I can never break the land speed record when the husbands are with them , I just shove my shopping trolley into their ankles and they move. My own Shopping Trolley is my secret weapon, I have had 20 years of experience of using them as then norm when I lived in Spain.
Not been in Asda for a while but must do as it is walkable from my Aldi.

Do the moisture boost creams and eye cream come back into stock regularly? Ive picked up 4 of each today just in case they come out once a year!

Raging to discover that Lidl still don't offer the post-7pm bakery discount on a Sunday evening, even though my store is still open until 10pm (because we don't have Sunday trading hours here).

Like actually why? Letting me save my 17p on my slightly stale baked goods is the least you can do, now that you've taken my free sweet treat from me 😒

I haven’t seen them on specialbuy in a long time! They had them with the normal stock for a while then they disappeared again. Hopefully they’ll have proved popular this time and will be a regular feature again!

I didn't realise the Aldi beauty event was on so glad that it's been mentioned here, now I'll nip in.
I bought the WOW dupe root lift spray but I really didn't rate it unless of course im applying it incorrectly 🤷‍♀️

Tried the moisturiser and wow! So nice and light to put on and my skin is so soft and hydrated now. I hate heavy thick face creams and used to love to use the loreal hydra(?) moisturiser that was in a bluey bottle with a pump that is quite similar. I am thinking of picking up some more to make a good stash
