They also added ground almond to the sauce so the calories went up slightly. Wonder if it was to bulk out the recipe.

I saw some on Monday - but it was the Geeta’s one with the bright blue label (which is lovely to be fair).

they don’t seem to have their own brand with all the curry stuff. I do like the geetas one

Whoever suggested bacon in cheesy hot cross buns - it is great! Admittedly that may have been on the M&S thread, but my hot cross buns were from Lidl...

I bought an Oakhurst Chicken Breast joint with a sell by date of April 25 but due to things that were happening I put it in the freezer. I am now doing a sort out and found it so let it defrost then did an airfryer roast. It was lovely and moist and I don't care about the sell by dates as long as the food is good.

I cannot champion this at all..... I did not enjoy it at all, total waste of bacon IMO.

Has anyone tried the Aldi Cheddar? It's got a good review in the Times...
I get one in Aldi that was recommended in a blind taste test. Packaging was reddy/maroon and was nice. Last time I bought this cheddar though it was crumbly!🤷‍♀️
Now wondering if it's been dumbed down.😥
Will look at the one you've posted.

We've had the maroon packaged one and it's lovely, but very crumbly.

I am not a baker in any way (an attempt was made during lockdown, but the less said about that the better...) but I want this standing mixer for my pink kitchen 😅

I used to love Lidl’s Greek yogurt, but they’ve changed it! It’s in a different tub, is thicker, and has a horrible aftertaste. Hope it’s only a temporary change of supplier.

Oh no! The blue and white Greek style tub or the actual Greek yogurt? I love the blue one but I normally only buy it when strawberries are in season.

Has anyone seen this gooey egg/cream egg spread in Aldi yet? Ive seen it on facebook and tiktok that its out and Aldi website says my local store has availability but nope.. not even an empty space with a label in my store. Im desperate to try it but dont want to keep going to check, also dont want to not check then find its all sold out anyway!
Im going to go back thursday to do a fruit top up and hope they might have it then 😋

Just wanted to recommend a couple of products from Lidl here in Ireland:
I got a tin of lentil and chickpea curry during Asian week, it was delicious, and I really wish I had stocked up on them, I had only bought one tin 🙈 and no sign of them since.
The Lidl Manuka honey shampoo and conditioner have a lovely scent and I found that the scent stayed in my hair.

I asked in my local and they arent stocking it even though the website says they have it in stock. The Aldi in my next town should have it as they are a flagship store so as I dont drive, Ive messaged my kids dad to have a scout and pick some up on saturday when he is that way.
Im betting after the trouble of getting my hands on this spread, I will hate it :ROFLMAO:

I’m not sure tbh, could only see one type? It’s in a tub as opposed to a taller pot with foil lid and plastic cover but both are Milbona Greek-style natural yoghurt, but I could be confused!
