Theyre absolutely delicious. My mum ever so kindly admitted to using these for Christmas for the past how many years. We all thought she slaving over the stove, nope bloody lidl maris piper to the rescue. It's hard to tell the difference tbh. I buy them and use them in a pinch. You'll see them in Lidl mid season weirdly enough, decent price and tasty af. Aldi had about 3 shelves of the Medjool dates today and they are now £3.69 a box and sell by date is October 26. Bought 2 boxes as I was on the bus and carrying the shopping but wonder if they will reduce them before Christmas.
I noticed this morning they have now put all the reduced items in one place (next to the This Weeks offers fridge) and got some 50% off Salmon and some prawns.
