I can't believe I lost this thread for nearly a month! I kept thinking something was missing from my watched threads list, but couldn't figure out what it was 😅

I bought a few party food bits from Aldi today to put away for later in the month, but I'm just making dinner for myself today and cannot be bothered to make the pasta I was going to have, so I'm just going to stick some of those in the air fryer. The camembert bites and the sriracha breaded prawns are particularly calling my name!

Have the cinnamon knot biscuits disappeared from Aldi again? I saw them when the Christmas food first started appearing weeks ago but I didn’t get them, assuming I’d be able to get them when I did a proper shop for Christmas bits. I haven’t seen any since! 🤦🏻‍♀️ did I mess up and miss my chance?
I was literally wondering the same today! They've not had them in for a while and the other biscuits they shared a carton with have gone too, they've been replaced by something else on the shelf. They are also out of the pistachio Turkish delight - only the rose ones are left (I have a box of the pistachio hidden away on top of the fridge freezer though, so I'm not quite as sad about that 😅)

I did manage to get some! I went looking for the giant ones in co-op that someone mentioned. Straight after I got them I went to Aldi and there was a full box of the cinnamon knots and the other flavour 😂🤩 Hopefully they will return to your store too!

I was the same I only realised yesterday

I've been looking for the cinnamon knot biscuits for months, they're never in any of the Aldis around me. They also seem to have stopped doing the pistachio Turkish delight as well, was hoping to get some more of that

I saw just one green box amongst the pink ones a couple of weeks ago, so I bought the pistachio Turkish delight then, but I try to only buy Christmas treats & snacks in December. Everything comes out so early, it feels like if you don't buy everything in October, it's a 50-50 chance of you being able to get it in December because the shops are over Christmas by then, and are prepping for Easter already 🤣

This Lidl croissant perfume seems to be a giveaway only item in the US, I wonder if it'll ever be out over here?

I cracked mine open when I got home. Had a Jamaican mince pie and lobster crisps so far.
I was too busy to have lunch so count them as minus calories. 😁
Are the lobster crisps like prawn cocktail flavour? I bought them, plus the aromatic duck, the truffle, and the boxing day curry crisps, haven't opened any of them yet.
Lidl here in Ireland have cinnamon knot biscuits, I bought them because of being recommended on here, not opened them yet either, hoping they will remain unopened til Christmas 😅
I was going to get my sides for Christmas dinner in Aldi but Lidl are doing three for two on them, and they look similar, honey roast parsnips, Brussels sprouts gratin, that kind of thing.

On the hunt for the best mince pie this year. Tried Lidl and wasn’t too impressed and thought the pastry was too thick. Already tried Iceland who, according to Good Housekeeping, have the best ones this year, but found them too citrusy! Heard the Aldi ones are good, but annoyingly don’t have an Aldi near me any more! Is it worth the journey?

I couldn't work out what flavour they were, but then I've never had lobster. They weren't unpleasant though. I think prawn cocktail crisps I've had in the past had a stronger flavour. 🤔

Thanks!
Yes, I've never had lobster either, so I was intrigued to try these.
Same with the truffle flavour.
I would love to try the garlic crisps that people rave about but I've never seen them in Aldi here in Ireland.

OMG! The garlic crisps were epic!
I've even kept the blue bag somewhere to remind me. 😋😋😋😁😁😁

The Lidl ones are decent - we used the carrot baubles and sprout gratin for Boxing Day last year. Also get the potato gratin things in every flavour possible, they’re immense

That's great to get a recommendation, I'll stock up!

Does anyone buy the barista oat milk from Lidl? Has it changed recently? I used to use it all the time, it was as good as the brand names, but I recently picked one up and it's gross now - all oily and seems to separate in coffee. Have I had a bad one, or is it not as good as it used to be?

Bought a box of Medjool dates on Friday from Aldi- £3.99 - and they are lovely, plump and soft. Hope they have still got them on Tuesday.

I got a box for the same price from Lidl yesterday so I hope they’re as good!! 🤞

I forgot to open the advent calendar on the app yesterday, did I miss anything exciting??
It was for matchmakers chocolate sticks. £1 instead of £1.49
