I was considering the double air fryer from Aldi. I already own a mini one from there that I bought in Jan 2024 and I’m happy with it, but wouldn’t mind a 2 drawer. Anyway, the dimensions are neither on the website or on the box, so I had to go into store with a measuring tape and guesstimate once all the polystyrene is removed. Why would they do that?!
Unfortunately, it’s too tall for my kitchen counter 😢

The Kevin cakes where the first to go last year. Apparently they didnt expect the tables to be so popular but thought the dolls houses would be - seen so many of them. The amount of stuff I've seen on Vinted is unreal, I don't know how these people arent embarrassed. I've been blocking them all so I never buy from them in the future.

Mine was almost cleared out! A couple of Kevin the Carrot cakes and dentist sets and that was it. Also went into Lidl and they had loads of toy stock but no dressing tables 😕

My electric milk frother has died.. RIP

Got it in either Aldi/Lidl years ago.. Great buy..

If anyone happens to see them back in could they give me a shout here thanks.. I've looked through the online leaflets and dont see any yet..
Their stuff is so good , I picked up an electric waxing kit from Lidl for £16 including the wax. It's paid for itself over and over.
I'll keep an eye out for a frother.

Tandoori one as well. They were on the end of the aisle rather than the sandwiches though.
Why was I imagining it as a soup in a bread bowl type of situation rather than a sandwich/wrap type of thing 🤣🤣🤣
Someone definitely needs to make a curry in a naan bread bowl though 😅

I'm not but I might join on my husbands Facebook and give it a look, thank you for the tip! I am going to try on Sunday for a magic restock 🤞🏻 Honestly I saw a colin cake before on vinted for £70! These people are vulgar x

I just don’t get the point of such blatant greed tbh. Are you on any Vinted Facebook groups? I’ve seen a couple of people asking for items and others saying their local Aldi has stock and would put up for retail price. I’ll keep looking in mine as they sometimes have a magic restock and I know the feeling of desperately trying to get hold of the thing your kid wants

I keep seeing the Aldi dupes of Baileys.. Now Im very common and never had a Baileys before  I tried a Pina Colada for the first time this year and its was awful and I had to waste it - apart from the one sip I had! As im not a fan of milky/creamy drinks is it a No? I dont want to buy one and hate it and then no one drinks it!
Im much more a cocktail/vodka girl!

I'm curious, we sometimes have "British week" at Lidl in my country, do you get "German week" in UK as well? 🤣
We get "Taste of the Alps" which sometimes also has "Taste of North Germany" items too. It's my favourite! I'm curious to know what you get for the British week, as I'm pretty sure most of the Alpine stuff isn't super authentic.

Something that’s been frustrating me about Aldi recently…apologies if this has been mentioned before, is their reduced-price sticker system. These items don’t have barcodes, so if you’re using the self-service checkout, you have to remember to flag a staff member to apply the discount. The staff mentioned that this is intentional, because customers often scan items without noticing whether the reduced price has come off. Dirty tactics.
Yes, I was caught out with this at Aldi, it really pissed me off. In other shops you can self scan a reduced item - why not Aldi? I think it is deliberate as it benefits Aldi if the customer forgets and inadvertently pays full price 😠

I was rather sad to find that the fish fingers from Lidl, although they turned out to be jumbo, which I liked, unfortunately tasted like the dish cloth had been breadcrumbed.😬😝

There are 4 Aldi and 3 Lidl near me. There’s a terrible Aldi, I’ve seen fights break out in it and there’s one that is cos-playing as a M&S. The Lidls are all ok. I know my way round Aldi better but would go in any of them before I’d set foot in Asda, Tesco or Morrisons.
Going to big supermarkets like asda is so exhausting, i never know where anything is and end up walking about a million steps trying to find stuff 🤣

Quite surprised how many toys left in ours this morning - wish I had little ones to buy for cos so much of it is adorable - I want a mini bread oven 🙈

I have once again been influenced by this thread and we are having a bliash curry feast for dinner while we watch traitors - cheaper than a take out!

It does make it easier if you put your stuff on the belt in the order it goes in your bag. :) not bananas and eggs first then spuds on the top.

Finally bagged the chicken caesar dip, ours had loads today. Also picked up numerous snacks, dips, crisps & crackers ready for tonights Eurovision... & 🇬🇧 nil points !

Also bought a Swiss roll of jam & clotted cream, they also had a lemon one too.
