You’ve never used the Lidl plus app?!?!? You usually get a free pastry or something for signing up then freebies once you hit £10, £50, £100, £150 then 10% off your next shop if you hit £250. It resets every calendar month so the freebies are different. You also get coupons based on items you buy like 15% off certain items each week. They also give you a scratch card on the app every time you scan and also do wheels that you can win pastries or fruit every so often too. Honestly it’s brilliant!Aldi have an app with freebies.
Susie the snake they areAldi do their own version of the sour Colin caterpillar gummies, I think they're called Wendy worms? I've had them a few times, they're pretty similar to the Colins!
Sorry you said you had some of the Aldi sweets which you got on the app - which is why I said Aldi have an app. You’ve never used the Lidl plus app?!?!? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I had one on Friday and I was so disappointed. It was really doughy and dry despite the amount of chocolate that dripped out with every bite (obviously I still finished it
Yes I have and yes they are! I practically inhaled itWhy did Lidl stop updating their bakery web page with the special guests??I don’t live nearby anymore and rarely visit so I miss everything because I don’t know what they have in. Pecan caramel slices sound amazing, has anyone tried them?
Agree. The one I had just tasted mega sweet and not pecany at all. I didn’t even finish it which never happens!Yes, pecan, but I was a bit underwhelmed. It was like a millionaire's square but had pecans. Just tasted very sweet.
I want to find the coated in chocolate brownies!!!!!!!!
Do you like Maple and pecan pastries? As may be obvious from my username I am obsessed with pecan nuts so now I feel I need to try itto be fair moving away from Lidl has been good for me getting away from that bakery but I do miss it. It used to be a 5 minute walk away, dangerous!
absolutely agree on this. I had it Saturday morning and I’d actually say it’s the worst thing I’ve had from their bakery. Dry and doughy. I also still ate it but wouldn’t get it again.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I had one on Friday and I was so disappointed. It was really doughy and dry despite the amount of chocolate that dripped out with every bite (obviously I still finished it). I’ll stick to regular chocolate croissants from now on. In case anyone wants to know the current specials, last Friday there were these, the chocolate flapjacks were back but dipped in chocolate this time and pecan caramel slices. Oh and dulce de leche muffins
Absolutely agree. They’d be on my death row final meal menu@pecan not sure if you venture into the M&S thread but if not then you must try the M&S golden blonde pecans, insanely good.
