I cracked and made a thread but the Grammy nominated artist, famous for the song “Because I Got High” had his home raided by the Adams County Sheriff’s office for narcotics and a possible kidnapping in 2022. He had home surveillance and an officer was eyeing some lemon poundcake on the counter that later went missing….and it’s not in evidence and they cut the cameras. So Afroman wanted his door fixed, his gate fixed, $400 in missing cash that was seized and an apology. They refused so he made a music video with footage of the raid (and many more diss tracks) but it started with the poundcake song and they sued him and it went to trial this week. A group of officers sued him for invasion of privacy, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. A jury today found him not liable for any of their claims.
