There does appear to be some videos from the protest though, but they may be outside Kabul
Re the picture in the university.

I’m not a Muslim or religious in anyway so I don’t understand the principle. But if any religious people are reading this can you answer a genuine question. Why can’t men a women even sit it the same lecture hall together? Is the theory that it will quickly descend into a charnel house or something? I’m genuinely perplexed.

I am not religious particualrly, but I teach international students so have seen this a lot, in lots of relgions they are not allowed to make any kind of physical contact with the opposite sex so I assume being in the same room might make this difficult?
I think back in the day christian churches had separate rooms too

In a nutshell, yes, it's to keep things modest.

Surely you mean carnal, not charnel?
Or I have this dictionary the wrong way round.

Yeah. Although I suppose it depends which type of “bones” we’re talking about.

Weird. It’s more or less saying that the faithful are little more than animals with no self control who will jump each other at the flash of an ankle. Maybe true on a Saturday night in Newcastle I suppose but I must admit I never witnessed an orgy breaking out in a lecture hall. Maybe I went to the wrong university.

I was thinking the same thing. Also is it to keep the men under control or the women or both?
Cause, I can't speak for men, but as a woman, I've never gone to a uni lecture and thought "yeah I could do with a bag right now... anyone?". I'm thinking "let me get the goddamn degree that I am paying a fortune and slogging my guts, vital organs, ovaries and every other fibre of my body for!"

Not a tweet to post but people can find it easily enough. If you type her name Mahjabeen Hakimi in to Twitter and scroll down the top tweets you will see at least one person (who's posted a gruesome photo in the tweet) that says she killed herself before the Taliban took over Kabul.
Lots of people have said that is fake news from Pakistan and the Taliban. Apparently they posted her head online but I don’t really want to search that.

So the Afgan army of 300'000 might have only been 50'000 people with the rest being fraud. I'm not sure it'll come as a shock to many. How could us "intelligence" be so bad? It's no wonder it all collapsed in days. The people calling the army lazy must get it by now?
