I still find it weird she never rescheduled the two massive Wembley dates she cancelled back in 2017. I actually went to one of them, was lucky to go as she cancelled the show after mine. I was so shocked that she never did those dates at a later date, especially with it being London and was sort of a homecoming for her.
In all honesty I think this Vegas thing should have waited till next year, covid is so up in the air right now I’m not sure who made the choice to put these shows on at such a time.

Jane MacDonald wouldn’t have been such a diva. She would just get up and belt out some tunes for the paying customers. Adele is becoming a bit too ‘now you see me, now you don’t.’
My local pantomime managed to carry on for six weeks when some cast and crew got the ‘Rona, I know it’s not Vegas and only £27 a ticket but even so. Her lack of professionalism is questionable.

As others have said those poor people who have used their savings to go see her. Booked flights etc she could have done a scaled-down show for a new nights while everything gets sorted. I'm sure they would prefer that rather than nothing.

Professional musicians could do it with hardly any rehearsal. That's what they do.

I agree, I wonder if something else is going on. For it to be such a last minute cancellation is odd, and I feel sorry for the many fans who paid so much not just for the tickets but hotels/flights/time off to see her too.

All she needs is a dark backdrop, some spotlights and to sing! It must be her voice being below her standard or something more than Covid.

I would want a refund and then I’d never spend money on her again.

I agree, I think her and her voice are not ready/never will be ready. The show that she did at the Palladium for ITV around launch her album will have been finely tuned before it aired on TV , it was pre recorded and then aired. I wonder if she doubts her voice is good enough live , for that long.

Just to put it into perspective, Ed Sheeran has over 200 people in his crew and he like Adele is one person on stage with not much going on plus she has a band who will have crew as well.

There is a lot of people that goes into getting a show to run buuuuuut, they should of known and cancelled it weeks ago if they knew the show was not possible or not ready to allow people the adequate time to change travel plans!

Her most recent album took forever to be released and wasn't *that* good. I know it got lauded and I didn't hate it, but I don't think it was worth the hype.

Or she could of done an acoustic / cut back show for the dates where the show couldn’t fully go ahead like Gaga did with the Jazz nights. Wouldn’t of been the full show but the die hard fans would of loved a few special one off shows!

She stands there and sings. There’s no choreo, no big outfits, no gimmicks I’d imagine? It couldn’t be hard to craft some sort of staging that she could work with.

I think Matt Goss speaks sense in terms of how much goes into putting on a show, the thing that fans can’t get their heads around is why it was left so late to be announced that it wasn’t going ahead that evening, or any other . Adele hasn’t covered herself in glory.

I don’t know when she can reschedule it. Rod Stewart starts his yearly residency straight after hers was due to finish and he’s there until October, I think it is. Isn’t she doing a weekend or two at Hyde Park in the summer as well?

I think her voice has probably had its day and she’s realised she can’t live up to (maybe her own) expectations. Her true fans would enjoy seeing her anyway.
