Just happened across this thread. I ain’t gonna lie I do love older Adele. She peaked at 25 IMO, that’s when me and Mr Euphoria went to see her in Birmingham. We had tickets for Wembley and she cancelled and we’d paid hotel and train but thought ah well one of them things and got tickets to BST - and I bet it won’t go ahead. I sold the tickets on. She’s sold out and totally isn’t herself anymore - the first time she messed up a song live and started again it was funny and charming but now she makes sure to put it into every set. Snore fest. Shame bc she’s so talented.
How did you sell your ticket if you don’t mind me asking? I want to sell mine but it states any resold tickets will automatically become void & I don’t want to con someone out of £300 if so! But like you say, doubtful it will go ahead anyway

I was at the first of what was supposed to be 4 shows. I remember booking the day off to make sure I got tickets. Lucky I got that date and not either of the cancelled ones.
I was at the second show, what turned out to be the last.

The world won't let us be in the same place at the same time, even before Tattle. 🔥

I think I skipped a lecture at Uni to book tickets.

And I seemed to know quite a few people who had tickets for the cancelled gigs and i got to be smug about getting to see the show.

He definitely could have toned it down but to expect him to sit is ridiculous especially when others were standing and there are apparently signs encouraging people to stand

See, I can't decide I'd the hair there ^ is giving me 'I don't want bleach near my skin in pregnancy so I'm just having my roots blended out' (she never normally has visible roots), OR if the stories are gearing up to a surrogacy reveal.

I can't believe that sludge of an album won anything. I could barely make it through one listen. Could not believe it was the same person who has songs like Daydreamer, Chasing Pavements, Rolling in the Deep and Set Fire to the Rain, etc in their discography. Even songs like Hello and River Lea were gold star material compared to anything on 30.
Initially when I heard her performance at the observatory, and she debuted “Hold On” and “I drink wine” they reminded me of songs from 19 and 21, which are my favourite albums. When I downloaded the whole album it felt like there was a lot of filler. I don’t mind Oh my god but it feels like Rumour Has it, where it’s nice to listen to but is tricky to perform live.
