You do get support when you go private but nowhere near as much as if you go via the nhs route. If you go private in the Uk, most surgery providers do drive home the fact that the person needs to put in effort and that the surgery is just a tool and not a quick fix.
I also know someone who had a gastric band and a a now back to their original size after liquidising Mars bars and pies.

I think she's seriously backed herself into a corner with her career. She could just retire and be a mother and spend and invest wisely with the amount of money she's made but she won't. I think she was so young when her first album came out and was successful then her second was just mental and I don't think she really knew how to handle it all. Now however she's a good age not a teenager or in early 20s and I think she's started to like all the fuss over her. She didn't grow up rich or anything now she's rich and not the "fat" girl that is a good singer. She's also really only known for songs about relationships and breakups if she wants to continue to put music out she can't just sit back and be a single woman.

She has changed dramatically since the early days and now looks nothing like the original Adele. Her fan base has suffered because she is no longer the 'fat' girl with the great voice as you rightly say.

Yeah I found what she said in Elle a bit lame, she says she cancelled the Vegas shows because of the lack of intimacy and so has redesigned the show to tell the story of her career. If you look up Beyoncé at the Wyn that exactly what she did “doing the opposite of vegas” granted both their careers are different and they’re wildly different artists but it’s not so revolutionary.
