It seems to be the case that when Brit celebs spend too much time in America, the British public start to hate them. Adele was always quite arrogant but that seems to have increased now. Plus she’s gone LA woo woo. I’m not saying she needs to be humble all the time (a quality that people only expect in women), but she is unlikeable to me now.

Her smugness and sense of entitlement just oozes through in every picture taken of her. Any likability she may have ever had has been well and truly stripped away by Hollyweird. It's actually a little depressing.

People say her London accent is put on, but I don’t think it is. I would say her polished voice is not her true accent, because she has received previous criticism for her cockney accent, so I think when she went over to LA she probably felt she had to tone it all down. She even said her son corrects her for saying things like “free” instead of three.

I know she was probably nervous of appearing on GN, but every word is peppered with effing this and effing that. Who cares about someone’s accent and tone if they can articulate themselves well? In her case, she sounds like a common fishwife.

I bet she was a riot at Heaven though, stripping down to her bra and making a right tit of herself!

I’ve been a HUGE fan of Adele since the 19 days (and I mean huge, I have posters of her all round my house & I’ve seen her live 4 times, spent god knows how much money on her over the years etc)

but she’s lost so much respect from me cancelling the Vegas shows! There’s absolutely no excuse for that, it’s not like she’s cancelling a tour in fan’s home towns. When I first saw her 11 years ago she had a stool & a lampshade and it’s still one of the most incredible shows I’ve ever experienced. People would have spent so much money on a vegas trip all for nothing, it’s not easy or cheap to just rebook another trip when she eventually decides to turn up! I was literally gobsmacked at the crocodile tears apology video she did, what a smack in the face! Then she has the nerve to fly over to the brits & get off her face in a club while fans are stuck in Vegas with bugger all to see it just doesn’t sit right with me.

I feel like this whole 30 era has been so self indulgent. I don’t even know how to explain it but as someone who has watched literally every single interview she’s ever done I could tell as soon as she came back something about her has changed. I just think the power has gone to her head now & she doesn’t care about anyone else but herself.

I’ve now got to the point where I actually hope the Hyde Park shows don’t go ahead so I can get a refund for the bloody £300 ticket I bought you probably all think I’m an idiot for buying it in the first place but normally I’d be counting down the days to one of the best days of my life but now just thinking about the show leaves a sour taste in my mouth! It’s just so sad to have someone you’ve been such a huge fan of for half your life disappoint you so much!

Sorry for the rant but I just thought some of you might find it interesting from a hardcore fan’s perspective because most of them still seem to be making up excuses for her behaviour! I just don’t think I could ever forgive her absolute stinking attitude.

This is the saddest part about the whole situation with her, the way she has treated her most loyal fans who have been with her from the start.
For you to turn on her like that, it clearly shows how bad things now are with her. You of all people will be one of the last to bail on her, so how many others are like you? Quite a lot I would suspect.
She has changed so much now from the former Adele, that her fans just can’t relate to her anymore.
I really don’t know how she will come back from all this now?
She is too big,believes the hype too much and is no longer grounded, too self absorbed, too LA ( thats never a good thing ), and too distant from her fans.
I think Simon was good for her as kept her grounded, then she outgrew him. He must be horrified to see the spiral she has been sucked into.

PS… In her defence, that level of fame must be very hard to cope with. Very few stars can handle it. Brittany couldn’t, neither could Mariah, Madonna could for many years ( but has gone a bit nuts more recently ). But the two queens of coping brilliantly with huge amounts of fame ( and are absolute professionals ) are Beyonce and Rhianna.

She looks so different and in a way I find very sad.

I thought she was always pretty and was pleased for her when she lost weight but it's made her have a harshness she didn't before then the added treatments she's has done, whatever they are, have made her look like a living waxwork.

From her comments in the interview I wonder if she will release music again? She sounds over it. I thought 30 was terrible. Not just Adele's worst album but one of any worst albums. I have never been a huge fan of her music but I do like 19 and 21, and 25 has some good moments. I also wonder if she will ever stop naming albums after numbers, because it had already got tedious by 25. It's her "thing" but it's boring now.

i have to disagree here, sometimes security can’t always see issues in areas. Artists have an excellent vantage point and it’s good to see people taking the safety of fans seriously particularly after Astroworld.

lol. You think there aren't other people on the stage that can see just as well, and you don't think event control have dozens of cameras positioned all over the audience area, many of them high up in the staging with much better vantage points than any people have? Just because Astroworld was a clustershambles doesn't mean UK large live events are.

Even if she somehow was the sole person to spot something going on in the crowd she can still beckon over one of her many aides and get them to sort it out.

Absolutely staged, or at the very least exaggerated, either way it's sad that people fall for it.
