I wonder how the Punk Rock Bowling Festival will survive without Adam's coverage?
I bet he walked up to the security checkpoint with his little tripod handle attached to the camera. No normal person bringing in a point and shoot would have an attachment like that, which could be used as a weapon and considered a weapon. (I see just a few minutes later, he confesses to bringing in the little tripod which is quite sturdy and can easily be used as a blunt object weapon if desired).
At first he basically says "Well, they wouldn't let me in with my camera, it's stupid, ah, whatever" and then less than 2 minutes later "I don't know, I'm pretty freaking annoyed by it, honestly"
Punk rock, man, why do they even charge money for this event? Was Punk Rock ever supposed to be about making money? Oh wait, every punk rock band (and every other live performer) wants to perform SAFELY (hence the rules preventing tripods, even small ones), and make money off their work and their performance.
Captain Genius here is so upset about everything, he's aimlessly walking around Vegas squinting while holding his sunglasses in his hand
Then his great experience at the festival the night before is now suddenly portrayed as a nightmare, with a 40 min delay to due an issue with the barricade (another safety issue, I guess Rancid should have kept playing because "punk rock", just like they should let Adam in with a potential weapon). And then the indictment of all the bands participating, selling their t-shirts for too much money, ticket price is too much, etc.
Then he's still so pissed off, he just starts walking IN THE STREET:
It weights half a pound, it's made of mostly metal (aluminum) and very hard plastic, and it has a flat screw sticking out of the top as well as the tripod legs:
Earlier in the video he stated he would simply go and enjoy some other things to do in Las Vegas. Then we learn he's walking back to his parking garage to return to his hotel to "relax the rest of the day and not stand out in this scorching heat"
He's basically taking his ball and going home for the day, and all his fans get is a 30 minute extended rant, no actual content today because Adam's shattered about having to go back to the car and leave his tripod.
Adam, you're really not this stupid, are you? You confess in this video that going in without the tripod would have greatly increased your chances of getting through security with your camera. This isn't your first rodeo with the Manfrotto. Just go in without it to begin with! IT'S NOT ABOUT TAKING VIDEO AT THE EVENT, they NEVER said you couldn't film,
they just don't want your stupid tripod inside.
