This is a reflection of how toxic fame and money is, that it ends up destroying lives in pursuit of acknowledgement and recognition. I do pity Aaron in that respect.

he didn’t have BSB around him as his group, but even then Nick has had to accept that he appeals to the nostalgia era and is not going to be able to recreate his early career ever again. BSB are not in the charts anymore and their demographic is over 30. They aren’t getting new fans at a high rate and are somewhat outdated (I love them, for this reason).

Aaron had been trying to create a space for himself, I know he wanted to distance from child star Aaron but he was too old and his style was just not in fashion. I think that was way too hard to accept - chasing something you can’t have and resenting everyone for it. It’s a sad life

It’s sad he was stuck there though and became more well known for being a mess than any of his music. It overtook all his talents and became part of his identity - to some extent he was so desperate to cling to fame he leaned into it

will we ever learn about child stars and how to protect them? Aaron was a product of the music industry and all the fakers and sharks out there promising you the world
I don’t think it helped that his parents were pushing his career, to eventually exploit him (and Nick) rather than being there as a support for their child. Rather than do what’s best for him and act in his best interests, they just saw their kids as cash cows.

I feel for her so deeply. Imagine finding the body. I hope she's getting the support she needs

Yeah the videos looked pretty depressing. Being in that neighbourhood harassed by his neighbours didn’t help him at all. The videos were shocking. I hope they look at themselves and their part in all of what’s happened, are ashamed & do better. I don’t think any of this or these people really show who Aaron was though, how talented or how loved he was by many people. It’s just an attention seeking circus. I too hope there’s some kind of closure and peace for him, it feels like such an abrupt end to a life that had so much promise and worth underneath the immense struggles he clearly had his whole life. I always find it harsh & cold when people say his death was inevitable and write it off. I don’t think so. I think there was a real chance he could have reached everything he deserved to be & already was deep down. There was so much potential. He just didn’t have the right people around him to help battle through unfortunately 😔

Good points about BSB. I think Aaron would've compared his career to Nick's all the time so it must've been hard seeing BSB performing in arenas as big as the O2, meanwhile Aaron was playing much smaller venues. He had such a difficult life and i hope he's at peace now. He should be proud of the legacy he left behind. I hope people remember him for his career, and not the battles he fought in recent years

They spread his ashes at the end of July. Doesn’t say if Nick or their mum went and I very much doubt Melanie did.

Buried his ashes - sorry.

Problem is, Nick will be judged if he doesn’t cancel. He has a commitment to his band and a family to earn money for and might want to carry on. Nick likely grieved for his relationship with Aaron a long time ago. I do not judge Nick for perhaps not wanting to go home to be with his mother right now, he’s invested a lot of his own emotional work in moving away from them because they are toxic. BSB are like a family to him. His fans also care for him, being with them might be what he needs to do
Yeah I agree, I don’t think he’ll feel the same as if it had happened before this rift. Their relationship was damaged beyond repair and he had moved on already.

Melanie Martin has apparently filed for bankruptcy

Exactly how is she making that much money? Also why does she need 11K a month
Here is a word of advice!!! Live within your fucking means, like most normal people!!! And what the fuck is she acting in? The enabler? The widow? Time to get a real job Mel and stop living in the shadows of Aaron’s!

Rumours circulating on Twitter that his mum Jane is on her way to the house, no doubt to grab whatever she can find

I think Melanie was also a very troubled person and the two of them together weren’t good for each other’s mental well-being

That’s two of her kids his mum’s lost 😔 I just hope Prince grows up in a loving home, knowing the best bits about his dad
I am not sure their mother will do well, she’s an alcoholic and I think she was estranged from the other children and closest to Aaron sadly

Aaron didn’t blame his mum like he did his siblings, they had such an unhealthy relationship, like it was his siblings job to bring him up and not his mum?

It's sad to see how badly he tried to get the success he once had and now that he's dead people are paying attention

Anyone from the U.K. remember Crazy Little Party Girl? Was listening to it before, probably the most nostalgic song for me. Reminds me of good times in the late 90s in primary school and having a little crush on Aaron.
I think I had one of those CDs you got with smash hits magazine or something and it had a remix of crazy little party girl on it 😂 great times

Wow this is so utterly tragic. I hope her daughter has some decent family to care for her.
Nick has definitely also struggled in the past. You can see he just really wants and craves this ‘normal’ family life he has with Lauren.
Those parents really messed their kids up somehow for 3 of them to die in this way.
