Yes.
As if Chester’s death wasn’t tragic enough, he died on what would have been CC’s birthday.
I am a HUGE Chris Cornell fan and I was surprised at myself at how gutted I was when he died. The last time I cried over a celeb death was Marc Bolan and I was 10.
( If you like Audioslave have you tried Soundgarden or Temple of the Dog?)

The first Audioslave album is one of my favourites. The second has a couple of strong singles but I did prefer the first.
And his various cover versions, mostly available on YouTube, are phenomenal!

Those are quite different, so I like the breadth of your musical taste!

The Death Pool thread continues.

Just a reminder;

JULY BONUS ROUND

Nominate one celeb that you think might unfortunately die in July.
They don't need to be on your official 2024 list.
You don't need to have an official 2024 list to take part in the Bonus Round.
They can be any celebrity who is known - as it is a Bonus Round, they don't need to have a Wiki page and they can even be a celebrity animal.

THEY MUST BE KNOWN WELL ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW THEM WITHOUT HAVING TO RESORT TO GOOGLE!

You have until 23:59 Friday June 28 to place your July Bonus Round nomination.

One vote each player; multiple votes for the same celeb are allowed.

If correct, you get the usual points (100-age, 1 point if they are aged 100+) PLUS ten bonus points if they die in the month of July '24.
If they are already on your list you don't get double points.

Off you go...
Not been on here for ages. Soz. Looks like I've missed the July bonus round. Just for fun though I'll say Esther Rantzen.

I used to work in a library so I must correct this - she was Wendy Richard. Not Richards.

As immortalised in her autobiography, which she entitled “No S. My Life Story”

I tit you not.

I think Cliff is just Richard too

Actor and actress has to be robin Williams, Alan rickman and Natasha Richardson

Singer definitely George Michael, Michael Jackson and Aliyah (aliyah's will always get me a bit because she didn't want to board the plane and they drugged her to calm her down and carried her on the plane

I didn’t realise that until a couple months ago when I listened to a podcast. Absolutely awful what they did to her
