Several people mentioned who I thought were already dead
My list, with reasons for fame, comments, ages and meaningless bonus guesses for cause of death (let me tell you in excessive detail, as a thread title once put it...):
1 - Shannon Doherty - Actress - 52 - Terminal cancer - based on what she's said, I think she's not got long, sadly.
2 - Dennis Skinner - Retired politician - 91 - Dementia / cancer - was very ill even as far back as the election in 2019.
3 - Conor Oberst - Emo singer - 43 - alcohol related - I'll be really quite sad if this happens, but he's been a mess for several years.
4 - Willie Mays - former baseball player - 92 - old age - he's just old, so it's a reasonable guess.
5 - Delia Smith - Cook / football club chairperson - 82 - old age - she's seemingly disappeared from the spotlight recently. Don't think it's been mentioned that she's specifically ill though.
6 - Jerry Lawler - Wrestler / commentator - 74 - heart problems - already very lucky to not die live on TV of a heart attack once. Next time he might not be so lucky.
7 - Jisoo (Kim Ji-soo) - K Pop singer - 29¹ - suicide - K Pop is notoriously bad for people's mental health, and those involved taking their own life is sadly common.
8 - Kris Kristofferson - Country singer - 87 - dementia / heart issues - has had various health issues for a while.
9 - Paul Gascoigne - footballer / drinker - 56 - alcohol related - much like Shane McGowan, seems to have survived much longer than anyone thought he might.
10 - Roger Staubach - former NFL player - 81 - old age - chosen solely because I wanted to choose someone that I share a birthday with, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Billy Sharp are a bit young
