Did anyone used to buy a bunch of plain VHS tapes and record programmes on them? I used to have so many VHS tapes piled up next to the TV with some paper attached to them with sellotape describing what was on the tape. Things have become too easy these days, haha.
I have so many jn my parents house, stuff like interviews with bands i liked and stuff. Would actually love a vhs player to watch them!

I was OBSESSED. I was also pretty good with the cradle trick and walking the dog.

I found an old yoyo last year and gave it a go and almost took my eye out so that went straight back in the drawer :ROFLMAO:

They were good fun. It seemed everyone had them at the time.

I remember being in a toy shop that sold them once and someone letting one off. It was worse than I could have imagined, they had to close the shop for the rest of the day

I'm sure they stank like extremely rotten eggs!

Does anyone else remember the thing with pins in it, you pushed your hands in to make a print? Then the pins slowly come up again. I can't remember the name, but that comes to mind too. The other one was rubber throwing toys, we used to throw them to the ground and they would bounce. I can't even remember the point of the game, haha.

Yes! As a kid that was great fun, but now I'm *slightly* more mature and aged I can fully understand why adults hated it :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
IIRC It's a bit of a faff to clean and it's quite flammable, so I can see why people don't like it.
