I mean, people can go into nightclubs now and such so I don’t see why GeeNelly apologised for the party when other influencers were meeting up during actual lockdown.Our Soph is indirectly involved in some controversy
Basically Soph went to GeeNelly's party in London the other day, it was held in a bowling alley that was hired out specifically for the party, supposedly 50 people were there but Gee posted an apology saying that they made it safe by making everyone test beforehand and ensuring everyone tests after the fact
Gee has had loads of hate directed at her for holding an irresponsible (albeit legal) party and I'm pretty sure Soph was there but has had nothing to say about the situation after the fact, I and I'm sure others have been able to figure out that she was there but I suppose she hasn't been called up on it and even though her friend has been receiving death threats and suicidal jokes aimed at her... radio silence.
It just seems like she loves making out she doesn't go anywhere or do anything and now a party she went to has some controversy attached to it and she has nothing to say to keep up her good girl persona... just wanted to see what you guys had to say about it
I do find it odd that Soph acts like she doesn’t have a social life but won’t document going out or vlog something fun like that? I’d have enjoyed a GRWM of that but maybe because she was such a stickler to the lockdown and social distancing rules, she was afraid of getting some flack for it?

Only just found this thread but I unfollowed this girl on Twitter a good few month ago. Her desperation for one of her tweets to go viral was making me cringe so bad, everything she says and does on there is so performative and I couldn’t stand the “is it only me who *insert completely normal thing that everyone does/thinks here*” to be

I also agree. Think people are being a bit harsh on her. Sounds like she's had a really tough time, and it's probably good for other women going through it, to hear that there's others going through the same thing. Yeah it's a moany vlog, but why wouldn't it be with how she's been feeling

To be fair compared to other youtubers/influencers Soph has had no drama in relation to covid. I truly believe she has followed all of the rules and it reflects in her videos about how sad she has been/hurt that she hasn’t been able to spend time with her parents and brother especially at Christmas and she was crying on Instagram stories etc. I don’t think dropping a cake off when there’s others having house parties, partying in Dubai and carrying out non essential procedures (Elle Darby’s boyfriend - hair transplant). Don’t get me wrong she can get on my nerves but I don’t think dropping a cake off after a year apart is all that bad. She’s mentioned her mental health has suffered so let her drop a cake off

Anybody else find it embarrassing how obsessed she is with Taylor Swift? Doing a video reacting to her new music. I just find it cringe, that's something you would do as a teen. Maybe just my opinion though

yeah I definetly think she’s going to fade into the background soon. She’s too lazy, how hard can it be to film back to back videos for one day, and then lounge and lay in bed all day editing them the next. Taa daa you’ve now got at least 3 prefilmed videos to go up on the right days for the week, and can now have the rest of the week off. I swear these youtubers feel like they have the hardest job in the world, I’d love to see them in a proper job with scheduled shifts they need to turn up too when they’re told...

I agree it seems the body positivity narrative cant apply to smaller women, despite the fact their bodies can look very different in different clothes/styles and this could encourage someone who is a similar size to her to feel more confident!

I suffer badly with anxiety and insomnia (and a bunch of other shit ) so in her recent vlog when she's talking about not sleeping because of anxiety etc, the whole time I'm like:

Not to derail and said with love, but if you’re still this affected by the birth of your children several decades later, you might benefit from some support for it. Birth trauma is absolutely valid and lots of women experience it.
