She had absolutely nothing to say last weekend - only retweets of anti Isreali tweets. She's a hypocrite.
This is off topic I know but I feel compelled to say something. I went for a look at your account to see what the actual context was and honestly I can't say I blame her for reacting the way she did. You replied to her tweet about Big Brother to criticise her for not talking about Israel and Palestine, what did you expect her answer to be? A brief look at your account tells me all I need to know, you equate support for Palestine with supporting Hamas and have been incessantly replying to people demanding they condemn Hamas. It all comes across a bit deranged to be honest. I'm pro-Palestine and I don't agree with Hamas killing innocent people - the same as the majority of people who support the Palestinian people. I don't agree with what the Israeli government are doing which is killing innocent people and enacting war crimes like cutting off electricity/water, dropping white phosphorus, and targeting humanitarian corridors with bombs after demanding people leave Gaza. Haven't seen you ask one person why they're not condemning the IDF, if you really cared about innocent people dying then you'd be calling that out too. Have you ever thought about your own hypocrisy?

Maybe spend less time getting angry at Z-list Irish celebrities for tweeting about Big Brother and more time learning about the conflict from credible sources.🙏🏻

The only thing I took from that woman's tweet is who calls their child 33 months old! The child is almost 3! After 18 months (maybe 2 max) parents really need to stop with using months for their kids age.

The casual homophobia in this thread is disgusting. Not everyone is straight FFS
Oh for God sake, nobody is being homophobic, it's a comment on her desire to be special and her desire to be marginalized despite being a middle class straight cis female.

But Louise would love how quickly you took offence.

I don’t follow or know anything about this dose but I came across Grace a few months ago and it led me straight to tattle. As someone who is a bit of a Luddite and stays away from social media mostly, it’s been a real eye opener watching these lazy, entitled, greedy, self indulgent wasters. Graces page led me to this yoke lying on her bed whinging and moaning that’s she’s stuck in London for a night in a nice hotel. Yes it’s an inconvenience but honestly? She travelled to a fucking free party in London with snow forecast so she could hang out with more narcissistic wankers rather than stay home with the people who should matter at this time of year. Lying there moaning like someone is dying cos if she’d known she could have arranged a night out. So fucking tone deaf with everything going on in this world. Has she an ounce of self awareness? Like I said, never heard of this one before but hate her already from watching 24 hours of stories on her Instagram.

This one is actually misery personified. Is she always this negative and whingey?

Anyone see Irish Country magazine’s Insta stories? Is she wearing green socks with flats?! Shocked to see she’s as big as Emer McLysaght.
i think this is cruel when Emer has spoken at length about her eating disorder and body image issues for which she has been hospitalised and spent time in mental health facilities. It’s a really unnecessary comment in my opinion. This is Louise’s thread.

Did I hear her compare her speaking up for overweight people to Ellen Keane speaking up for people with disabilities today, on the pod?? I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

Ellen was saying how she grew tired of always having to be the one to speak up for disabilities when she was on Dancing with the Stars (or words to that effect, not that she was sick of it, but that it was exhausting) and Louise said, and I quote:

“I relate so hard to that… it’s hard work having to be the one who speaks up, having to be the one who opens up their DMs, I’m sure this happens to you too”

What other way is there to interpret that besides her comparing giving out about there not being enough size 22 dresses in shops to Ellen Keane, Paralympic medalist and disability activist, speaking up for representation of people with disabilities??

She’s completely crackers. I do enjoy parts of the podcast but it’s very repetitive, and she’s extremely victimy and right on, it’s too much.

Do you ever have those days where you’re just completely sick of everyone you follow on all your platforms, and long for the days before smart phones, where everyone wasn’t buzzing like bees in a hive to fight to have their mindless bullshit opinions heard by the world… sigh

Listened to the podcast this week. I do enjoy elements of it, or I wouldn’t listen.
But Louise and Aoife are just plain aggressive at times. The reason people like me occasionally write stuff on Tattle is because there is no point disagreeing with any aspect of what they say to their faces, because you will be shut down.

Case in point: Their discussion of the news story this week that Paul Murphy TD is raising his child gender-neutral, and will refer to the male child (Juniper) as they/them. Aoife snarled that “people should get fucking lives” and was clearly just completely disdainful of anyone who had an opinion on this that was in any way different to hers.

Now, the only reason I know Paul Murphy is raising his child this way is because he broadcast it to the world via the Irish Times. Clearly, he is the one who is inviting discussion. And yes I do think it’s ridiculous, but not because I don’t think little boys should wear dresses, like pink things, have long hair, anything like that. I fully believe in breaking down social conditioning around gender norms. I just don’t agree that the way to do that is to pretend biological sex doesn’t exist. The child is a helpless little baby boy. That is factual, FFS. You can break down gender stereotypes without denying the reality of a newborn baby.

It would be like a black couple having a baby and saying “this child has no race, because we don’t think they should be limited in life by being black.” And then refused to refer to their own baby as black. Surely most people would agree that creates some weird shame about the child being black, rather than being proud of that fact, embracing it, while also working to dismantle racial issues along with non-black allies across the community.

It’s just completely bizarre and attention-seeking. But Louise and Aoife aren’t interested in any kind of nuanced discussion of the way he’s choosing to do this. And acting like anyone who expresses the remotest negative opinion on this is a sad loser. He’s the one who ran to the bloody paper with it, I don’t give a shite how he raises his child, but I think he’s a fool.

Actually surprised to see a thread on Louise here. I find her really refreshing. Love how she’s comfortable in her own skin instead of photoshopping herself into oblivion like a certain other eyebrow’d instagrammer! And giving out about the kids - I think she portrays how hard it can be with small kids and it’s not all rosy and Instagram perfect like JJ and some others would have you think 🤷🏻‍♀️ Shes had a tough ole time of it, her book is well
Worth a read

I used to agree with some of the views here re the excessive moaning (not the comments on her appearance cos I think she is stunning!) but then I listened to a couple of podcasts that had her on about her childhood and stuff and a lot of things made more sense. She’s overcome a lot of adversity in her life. I think certain elements of parenting are challenging for her as a result and she’s refreshingly honest about it. And no I’m not her or a friend of hers before anyone accuses me of that. But these interviews completely changed the way I view her personally. She is no doubt annoyingly ‘woke’ but there are worse out there and I think her show is actually pretty good.

To be honest & balanced I don’t need an influencer’s opinion on world events. No one should get their news from anywhere but reliable sources, not someone who schills Krispy Kreme’s & hair products 🤷‍♀️

She’s SAD not ADHD. I can’t stand this new trend of every adult woman having ADHD. It’s bull
Sorry but as an someone with ADHD who didn't get diagnosed until my thirties, I find this so attitude so infuriating. ADHD was not commonly detected in young girls in the 80s and 90s and symptoms in girls and women are very different in boys and men. Women screen and internalise their difficulties a lot more. A lot of us are only getting diagnosed now as the resources were not there as children when we needed them. Many women have only been diagnosed when their children show signs in school and when speaking to a gp, they realise they have it too.

It has been extremely detrimental to my education, career and personal relationships. It's a form of neurodivergence and present in 5% of the population. Would you say that about an adult who had reading difficulties and was diagnosed with dyslexia in later life, as many many adults were as it became more commonly understood? Dyslexia is also a form of neurodivergence. I suggest you educate yourself before making ignorant comments.

Hey Louise, do you know who are also sick of Covid? People like me and my colleagues working in Testing Hubs around the country, breaking our backs testing hundreds a day.

I don't have free Dermologica and other #SponCon to enjoy when I get home from work. I get to do my washing and eat some toast and get up to do it all over again the next day for another 12 hours.
I've mentioned it before on this thread but I really don't enjoy the oneupmanship that emerges any time she says.... anything really? What's that about?

Fair enough I absolutely see the point that she doesn't have a "traditional" job in the usual sense so it can be hard to relate anyway, but this notion of "you think you have it bad, well MY....." is damaging and its not healthy. What's trivial to some can be make or break for others.

My friend is the same weight/body shape as Louise and has been advised by her doctor recently that she needs a knee replacement. She cried her eyes out about it but still won't face the reality that her excess weight is what caused the need for her knee to be replaced. I wouldn't be surprised if Louise ends up that way as well. I'm all for body confidence and body neutrality but there is a societal cost to obesity. Not all, but a lot of health conditions are brought on or worsened by excess weight. I have to bite my tongue a lot so I'm not accused of being fatphobic but the Irish healthcare system is already severely struggling and an increasingly obese population will strain it even further.
I’m not obese so I don’t have any skin in the game but the state of the health service is a real problem in this country and it’s not the fault of the fat people. Skinny people get sick too by the way. and smokers and non smokers. Drinkers and teetotallers. It’s not the fault of a single cohort of society that our health service has been managed poorly for decades now. No amount of funding can seem to fix it.

Here you go
Oh please, like she doesn't come here herself.

Gossip is human nature and when we live in such a sterile society where NO ONE gets held accountable and our media are nothing but nodding dogs it's great to be able to vent about what vultures these "influencers" are.

I love how Tattle is a problem but her bitching about her children and slim women is perfectly fine.

She was fired because her show was very stale and achieved modest ratings at best.

She now has a podcast made up of similar content which appears to have sank without trace according to Apple and Spotify charts.

There is no comparison between her and the current RTE scandal.

None whatsoever.
