I REALLY hope Jim watches Tanya's Q&A she posted today. It's perfect. From about 5:10 she's asked her favourite things about Dan, and what made her know he was the one to settle down and have children with.
Not once does Tanya mention she was married before, she just says she'd dated before, and no one had been like Dan (Ha ha, Jim, two can play that game). Gems include:
* On an early date they got drunk and danced round Dan's kitchen, Tanya says this is the MOST fun she'd ever had whilst dating someone
* Tanya told a friend she'd never met anyone like Dan who she could be so silly with so quickly
* Tanya says they still dance round the kitchen and she'll turn to Dan and say it's like we're literally in a film. She says she never thought her life could be like this
* She says she loves Dan's positivity. And that his goals and outlook on life are aligned with hers, and that's comforting.
* She says she loves how much they talk. And that she'd dated other people before she settled down with Dan and never had this with them.
I think we can gather from Jim's recent podcast output that he's a sulky, unambitious, bore who would put Tanya down for wanting to be silly. To have your ex-wife talk as though she's settled down for the first time must be harsh, especially when she's saying everything is better with her new man, and she's never had it so good.
Merry Christmas Jim! This is karma for ya.
