This sums it up well, thanks Brendan.
I'll take 1 Riley over 10,000 Dylans any day.

Exactly:

These days a bloke doesn’t even have to be castrated to become a woman. The demeaning of women as castrated males has been replaced by the even more repugnant demeaning of them as dolled-up males. Fellas, if you have access to mascara, wigs and tucking tape to hide your cock, you too can become a woman. Put on your leggings, do a couple of high kicks, open your mouths to make yourselves look dim and vacuous, and hey presto, you’re a lady. Anyone can do it.

It’s the fact that the chattering classes, the White House and big businesses like Nike Women and Bud Light are all falling at his feet and saying: ‘Yes, Dylan, you are a girl.’ In doing so, they don’t only flatter one bloke’s delusions – they also give official sanction to the sexist idea that womanhood is nothing more than cosplay. And if women aren’t real, what’s the need for women’s rights? It’s a short step from treating womanhood as a joke to treating women as jokes.

My daughter has a friend who is a trans woman in her 20s. She told me that her friend always hated being born a man and now lives totally as a woman. So not an on/off like Izzard.

According to her 'trans rights' are about people like her friend having access to HRT and treatment on the NHS. My daughters friend currently has to buy her own HRT online.

While I do feel a bit sorry for her friend, do we think that this should be available free or not 🤔

Years ago the NHS used to do some cosmetic surgery for free (like nose jobs) but I don't know if this is still the case or not.
While there is a HRT shortage I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Women who suffer with the menopause should get it first. Not men charading as a woman.

ETA they do get treatment on the NHS just not to the extent or speed at which they want it. If TRAs had their way they would be the first priority of the NHS ahead of cancer etc. They don't get the concept of waiting lists and to them their treatment is as life important as cancer treatment because they will kill themselves if they don't get it when they ask for it.

Further edit. They won't actually kill themselves. They will just threaten it to get what they want

I think these issues come with varying degrees of context and I don't think one case of someone's transgender identity should reflect on everyones but a lot of what is being posted here doesn't feel very reflective of facts. I've only known one transgender person and they came to the realisation at 50 years of age but this whole 'agenda' idea that people want to 'mutilate' young people is absurd.

I respect everyone is allowed have their opinions and since I don't fall in the LGBT community I can't talk for anyone in it but it just feels like a lot of people in this thread just don't like transgender people and could benefit by actually talking to some about their experiences of dysphoria and the humanity of it. This all feels very THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE OUR CHILDREN!

If people in here quote people like Matt Walsh and push his rhetoric and films you've already lost on human decency alone. The man says that children who are r**ed by their father should be forced to bring the child to term.
We've already discussed these issues endlessly on the gender thread. Perhaps you should learn what's really going on before denouncing people who have concerns about children being given drugs that will have irreversible effects on them.
That's called child abuse.

Dylan is a poser desperate for attention from weak minded people who think it's acceptable for him to portray womanhood as being afraid of bugs, crying and wearing high heels. It's gross misogyny.

Just out of interest. Is there a female to male trans person who is making a mockery of men or is it just the other way round?
I just heard someone on TV talking about this. There’s not one that I can think of, so it just further supports my stance of it’s just another way for a man to do something better than a woman…..in this case, being a woman.

Their whole “girlhood” thing is extra creepy. That’s giving strong pedalo vibes. As an actual 40 year old woman, the only time I refer to myself as a girl is to make a joke about being “a poor little country girl just trying to make a living”. grown woman do not call themselves girls. It’s very clear who they are attempting to appeal to and it’s disgusting. No matter if you’re a fan of Kaitlin Jenner or not, she has never attempted to appeal to children/teenagers. Ever. Because she’s an ADULT and has been vocal about protecting kids and women

This whole Budweiser thing is a great case study to show how out of touch the marketing and corporate departments of these mega brands are with 99% of their customers.

It should make brands question more what influencers they pay and not just dish out cash willy nilly thinking it's small change in their ad budget.

Just seen on twitter that he’s now promoting Bud Light and has been given a can with his face on it saying ‘congratulations on 365 days of girlhood’. Went to his insta to see if it was true and it is, and he’s also promoting Kate Spade in a cringy video. And then, for a full year of being a girl, sponsored by maybelline??

How can a grown man be so celebrated for being a caricature of a ‘girl’ for all of a year when billions of women and girls are living their lives every day without cause for celebration? Are we girling wrong? Can I get a can of something for my 15,330 days of girlhood?

I’m sorry but please tell me what “living as a girl” entails? He thinks it’s putting on cute clothing, doing your hair, acting overly feminine makes him a “girl”? Plus why he says girl and not woman when he’s clearly an adult just comes across as creepy. Hope he realises that being female is more than just playing to stereotypes, every woman is different, dresses differently, behaves differently. And I won’t even start on the feminine issues we have to deal with on a monthly basis.
Edit: I’d also heard on a previous thread that Tampax had used him as a spokesperson or influencer whatever, I dont know how true that is?
It seems to be exactly that, putting on women's clothes and wearing make up because that's what he thinks 'girlhood' is, just a bloody stereotype.

Eddie Izzard talks about being in 'girl mode' as well when he's a 60 year old man!

I'm so sick of this shit and worst of all if I expressed these views at work I'd probably be in trouble.

How did we end up with this crap being forced on us? Noticeably it's all happened under a tory government as well and the tories are the only party not signed up for bringing in 'gender self ID'🤔

It's only going to get worse if the Labour Party assumes power after the next general election. It will then become unlawful for us to challenge men thinking that they're women.

The “transphobia” accusation is designed to shut down debate. Trans women are trans women. And good for them. What’s the need to be seen as exactly the same as actual women when you’re not? I mean, I don’t even think Dylan is trans, but if he was then he should just own that and embrace that. That would be cool. It’s not the same as being female, but that’s fine.

There is an inherent difference between hatred, and declining to accept a lack of material reality. If the simple fact of your biological sex is truly impossible for you to accept or even have mentioned by others, you need a lot of therapy and support, not the rest of us not only to play along but to have imposed on us by law and regulation, and then have women’s sports and safe spaces compromised and devalued for a minority of males to feel better about themselves.

By way of comparison, I’m a lesbian, and my partner and I have been looking to have kids together. She would be the biological mother. I would be the other legal (and emotional, and I’m all other respects) parent.

If I demanded that any random person on the street not recognising me as LITERALLY the same as a biological parent re-educate themselves, or insisted that no-one see there was a difference between a biological father, and me as the second female parent — and if you dared notice it you’re a bigot and should be cancelled —I rather think people would assume I was insane.

Of course, if I wasn’t in people’s faces every five minutes making those demands for acceptance from random members of the public, or joining a group for Dads despite being a woman, or on YouTube saying: “Day 222 of being a Dad! Time for another Dad joke!” and just, you know, getting on with my life, it would be much more reasonable to leave me alone.

Don’t think there’s a thread on Dylan yet - but it’s about time the account was discussed as the last few weeks they’ve created quite the furore getting gigs at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit, discussing womanhood on a podcast with another biological male and getting an audience with President Biden despite only being in a debatable ‘transition’ for just over 200 days…

Oh no Dylan, why? You know, I think her face was absolutely fine as it was before. I think, despite her strong jaw, she actually did look quite feminine. I really don't think she needed this surgery.

I think we can safely say that this isn't a joke anymore. I know some people believe she's just acting and making a mockery of the trans community but she clearly isn't.

I'm intrigued to see what she looks like. What a shame. She looked great, shame she can't see it.

This isn't a rave post (although it sounds like one).
instead of using she/her for dylan, you can just tell every woman to go fuck herself 💗

If he’s genuine then it would have been great if he’d shown even an iota of awareness of how his caricature of women might be received.

We see so much about women needing to stand with transwomen and so little about transwomen standing with women.
Absolutely THIS. I think this all the time. The ‘ally ship’ only seems to work one way. You don’t see them championing abortion rights for example, without mentioning that trans people MUST be involved in the conversation, as of saying women is somehow the worst thing you could do. An obsession with centering themselves at every turn. When actually as women, we need as many actual real allies to fight the shite that’s thrown at us all the time. But nope, it’s all about the trans.

He keeps going on about his hormones and them making him emotional and cry. So he’s making out they are strong enough for that but not strong enough to give him hips and actual boobs, not just skin squashed together to make a faux cleavage.
He claims he’s now taking progesterone and it’s ’kicking his ass and making him cry’. Must be absolutely great to get all the hormone treatments you need to LARP your way through life as a faux-woman, but be an actual woman who needs them to help with female related health issues and you’ve got to jump through a million hoops, or be told there’s not enough to go round…or…just not be believed when you say you have a health concern. God it makes me so angry!

Did anyone know this “marginalised” person’s grandfather was a very influential person in his community, and a multi-multi-millionaire, btw? Which is how he went to the best schools, the best colleges etc , very white male privileged upper class upbringing now larping about pretending to be of ”the most victimised community of people - trans”.

I assume I’ll get banned from this thread for this which is fine. So: WOW a whole thread full of TERFS. Truly incredible, I feel sorry for all of you. Dylan is incredible and much more kind hearted than any of you could hope to be in your current state of thinking.
You lost hun?

No not all for clout. That she is genuine in her dysphoria, has much more of a subdued personality or a different one socially and creates a character for the videos. Someone can still be really trans and also create heightened version of themselves for content.

He's a dangerous cunt who is pretending to be a girl. If he's got genuine gender dysphoria, I'm richer than Elon Musk. What on God's earth does he know what it's like to be a woman? To have a period? To walk alone in the dark and be scared? To get paid less for being female? Absolutely NOTHING. Stop facilitating his fantasy.

Lol I was genuinely told I was transphobic on here yday for saying ‘creepy old Dylan mulvaney lied about having a partnership with Tampax’ 🥴. It’s fucking dystopian.
Also, Dylan was clearly the blueprint for this but I’m seeing more and more trans creators just immediately screaming ‘transphobia’ as a way to deflect criticism, it has literally become a way for them to do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it. It’ll all backfire in the end, because the more baseless accusations of transphobia that people throw out, the more the word will lose meaning.
When everything is transphobic, nothing is. Being called transphobic just to deflect the conversation is A. Abusive and B. It tells you the person you are speaking with is not confident in their stance. Remember this: Reported hate crimes in the UK rose to its highest level of all time the past few years; the most reported hate crime? Eye rolling.

If you are called a TERF just remember that the term woman (and thus women's single sex spaces, jobs shortlists, awards, accolades, scholarships, sports and so on) is exclusionary by definition, it isn't a slur or the own TRAs think it is.

The trans demand to be allowed into 'woman' is not a right it is a privilege. These privileges were taken and implemented by stealth. Women did not have a seat at the table for these discussions only TRAs did. It is not wrong for women to refuse men/males access to 'woman' - they are wrong to demand it.

I'm sorry, but as a woman, I don't want to see a biological male prancing around a bra. I'm a 34G, if Nike weren't such twats, I'd buy that bra (no way are they getting any money from me) and prance around and see if its ACTUALLY supportive or not! Dylan looks like a lost soul but his ad is of no interest to me.

The irony of this crazy situation is that us 'trolls' are asking Dylan to live his life authentically, and yet liberals pro-trans people are celebrating him pretending to be a girl, skipping, pigtails, audrey Hepburn cosplay, and dramatic weight loss!

No one should live in a world where defining ourselves by our gender is an occupation or replacement for a personality. The nike etc endorsements are encouraging dysmorphia and gender confusion and it is disgusting.

When being openly homosexual became more socially acceptable, homosexual celebrities didnt get celebrated in the press or media purely because of who they were having sex with. Freddie Mercury, Andy Bell, Paul O Grady, etc had talent! The had presence! Their sexuality was part of them, but they had so much more to offer.

Liberalism has reduced Dylan to being a trans poster boy and nothing else.

I hope all this makes sense.

I cannot stand this attention seeking man. Let’s hope his five minutes are up and soon. Imagine he was at the White House and has the bloody vp kamala sending him a fawning letter. The world has gone mad.

Drew Barrymore is an absolute clown; kneeling and fawning at this lunacy.
