He’s literally copied what so many of his fans have said in reply to the backlash comments. Everything they’ve said sticking up for him, he’s used them all as excuses, word for word.

I will forever be confused by the “feminists” who support this man. He’s making a mockery of women, he is playing a character! The very same feminists who often hate men & talk about “mansplaining”. Well idk what’s more “mansplaining” than a man telling the world what “girlhood” is like, while using harmful stereo types!!!

“But this is Dylan’s experience of girlhood” seems like a pretty shallow and pathetic experience to me!!!

IMO this started as a parody but Mulvaney was getting so much attention he kept the gag going. And anyway, he’s as “trans” as the next person who claims it so the identity is kind of true isn’t it… After all, being “trans” and a “woman” (or a “girl”) can be self-declared and as an adult doesn’t require much effort these days, it’s not like the hell Jazz Jennings has been & is going through (adult trans males don’t need bottom surgery, goodness me, imagine losing sensation! Can’t have that — but minors need as much medical intervention and interference as possible — apparently. Interesting).

I’ve got to be careful about how I word this (there’s a reason I don’t go near the gender discussion thread ) so please bare with me if this comes across as a bit weird.
I think the reason people, including myself, are angry about the whole ‘Dylan/Nike’ thing is because it’s just such performative allyship. Dylan FAMOUSLY doesn’t fucking exercise, or eat well etc, so why the hell should they get to be the one to advertise sportswear? They know nothing about it. They couldn’t tell me if that sportswear is good for actually exercising in, because they haven’t got a clue.
There are actual trans athletes they could have used, who would have been able to speak about how well performing the athletic gear is, but I suspect they weren’t even approached because of *asthetics*. Picking Dylan meant that Nike have almost ‘played into’ the idea that to be a trans woman you have to ponce about in girly frocks all day, which couldn’t be further from the truth. And so it all just comes across completely performative and fake.

Jesus fucking H Christ this talentless attention seeker makes me unspeakably angry. A gratuitous parody of the worst stereotypes, and somehow we're all meant to fall over ourselves about how stunning and brave he is? Get the Fuck out, fuck the fuck off, and when you get there you can fuck off some more you cretinous prick.

Another vote that this is leading to him "having" to detransition.

I think it’s striking that males are actually threatening and carrying out violence in a lot of this “debate” (not accusing Mulvaney of this btw) and a lot of women are still concerned with seeming rude and overstepping boundaries when their spaces that were hard-won (and often not very politely) are being co-opted. Just an observation and not a criticism but socialisation is a deeply strong thing.

I have met gay guys who I can tell really despise women yet seem jealous of them too. Jeffrey is the next level of that. I should also say for balance I know lots of lovely gay men who are nothing like this!

I keep hoping sooner or later he’s going to slip up with some absolute clanger that exposes him for a fraud and everyone sees the light but I think I’m pissing in the wind.

There’s no such thing as hormone therapy if we’re being honest when it comes to trans, it’s giving random drugs to humans to make them feel better about themselves. No drug can make a woman a man or a man a woman because it’s impossible.They’re trans sweets as far as I’m concerned.

Dylan (actually like my friend I posted about above) is dark haired, thick haired and seems to have a lot of body hair. His skin also looks pimply and sore like I said what my friends looks like. There’s no amount of hormone therapy or electrolysis treatment that will change that
