As a fellow healthcare worker (doctor), I entirely respect your choice but I think it’s an irresponsible decision and you should consider working in a non patient facing position, sorry.

The latest stories 😳 that will be her justification for drinking morning, noon and night. She’ll be quoting that fella for years to come.
As someone that is trying to stop drinking after knowing that I have imbibed too much for years, that story she shared was awful.

The problem is that if you have an issue with alcohol, you will take any justification and run with it. All she is doing is showcasing her actual issues. All of you lovely lot and your comments on her drinking has actually been a big help to me as a reminder that it's not really normal or okay to drink so much. I'm grateful for everyone's comments on her drinking as I have reflected on them personally.

I spent years as a weekend binge drinker from about the age of 15 to then turning into an every day drinker now in my 30's. My husbands is a tradesman and he has beers every day after work and that became my normal too. So I'd have a few beers after work while cooking dinner etc. I rarely get drunk but it became an issue because I couldn't go a day without a few drinks. That has been for years now. It's not something to aspire too. It's not something to be proud of. When you're in an echo chamber of either people around you doing the same thing or just not actually telling people that's what you're doing, you kind of forget that it's not normal. Or at least, it shouldn't be normal.

Her trying to play it off like drinking so much so often is just a laugh is kind of dangerous. Her saying that she is 'nearly' over the weekend but can see the next one already is kind of sickening.

Maybe it's just me but I don't like it. It's as shit as her wanting to help people with their diet and not cooking a meal ever and living on takeaway. Makes no sense.

Anyway. Rant over. I'm on day 3 no booze for the first time in too many years :)

A lot of people are using the ‘there’s no long term data’ excuse but how would that even matter and how would that even be possible? It’s a new vaccine for a shiny new pandemic?!

Come for me if you want but I honestly think those who are able to get it and are choosing not to are really stupid. Of course those with health issues, pregnancies, breastfeeding etc. aside.

I highly doubt there’d be a vaccine released into the world that was gonna kill us all, put microchips in us or turn us into bastard frogs. It’s a bit wild that people are so weary of it and wondering why we’re all encouraged to get it thinking that there’s some ulterior motive behind it. I think people spend way too much time on Facebook reading their conspiracy theories.

Personally I was overjoyed to finally be invited to get my first one, which I did within 2 days of my age group being announced and I’ll be just as overjoyed for my second one. The last year and a half has been absolute torture for everyone and if this is our way out then jab my deltoids with your vaccine babes I’m ready for normal xo

I'm not having it cause I'm recently pregnant and I don't want it to get messed up. I've read it changes lots of women's periods so who knows what could happen.. don't want to miscarry
There is no evidence for it affecting menstrual cycles or causing miscarriages, please don’t scare people. Since you’re recently pregnant, that’s a good enough reason but why speculate. I’m outta this thread, makes my blood boil 😭

God, I bet it is too.

Essentially investing in a property fund and toasting champagne like they can rock up for the night at their "apartment" in Manchester and let themselves in the front door.

REITs are fairly common, but 99.9% of people understand they are in a fund, not property owners/landlords.

Truly shows the depths of their dimwitted that they toasted this on their stories.
Invested 50 quid into Apple earlier. Feels good to be a tech CEO, although the turtleneck does chafe a bit.

No, everyone needs to do more research for themselves and actually question why they are pushing so hard on this. The vaccine will change your dna... If that doesn't scare you?!

Siobhan: ooh! It’s Valentine’s Day, imagine, I am single, but I am wearing all red today, it’s okay to be single, better than being in a relationship that’s not perfect, oh, must send an email to my clients all about being single, I like being single, it’s so much better than not being single, everyone should be single. It’s great. Just off to BJJ to feel the touch of another human.
Everyone else: it’s Monday

I’m not having the jab. Neither is my partner and neither will my children. We live a relatively healthy lifestyle and trust in our immune system. We don’t have the flu jab either and have survived quite well all these years.
We are in the minority and I’m totally fine with that.

Not sure what part of my comment is funny but I’m guessing you are both vaccinated.
Judging by the comments by those that are vaccinated I would be inclined to believe they stick something in it that gives you an ‘I’m better then you’ complex because they feel it’s their job now they’ve been jabbed to berate those that have a difference of opinion 🙄

Hey guys just checking in.
I’m doing great on the new furnace!
I had margaritas & dominos for breakfast.
Roughly about 150 cals if you use the siobhan method.
Lunch is Deliveroo from another taco place, and dinner is actually drinks as it’s Friday. I quit my 9-5 as i realised it’s holding me back from mid-week sesh’s.
Xxxx

My sister was murdered by her husband 6 years ago.. I know exactly how the family feels, their whole world is after collapsing in around, they're trying to make sense of what has happened and how are they going to survive the rest of their lives without her. When my sister died many family members found out through social media and it was absolutely horrendous for them. We HATED all the shares, newspaper articles, radio, people who jumped on the bandwagon. It is so hard when all you see is her face plastered everywhere and a lot of ignorant people making it all about them!!

I follow the rules completely by social distancing, wearing PPE and washing my hands but I am refusing to be forced into having a vaccine for the sake of it because it is our human right to choose what we want injected into our bodies.
So did I follow all the rules completely and still got it. It’s a highly infectious disease. I don’t understand why anyone working in healthcare would want to put their patients at risk.

I am not having it. Just my personal choice but I work in healthcare and have seen they are trying to make it mandatory to have it but that means I will leave because I am not being forced into having it. Anyone else here NOT having it and if so, why not? Ps I am not antivax and definitely not up for a debate about it I just want people's input on it x

That's not true. That rumour started on Twitter by some knob who works for Trump in the White House.

I'll be getting it, don't have any qualms about it either. I travel a lot for work and a lot of countries will be making it mandatory, like Yellow Fever.
