Mrs Doyle is pissing me off, they’re trying to make her this sassy, sarky, no nonsense old school landlady/ strong family woman but she’s actually just a nosy, screeching, unfunny, pantomime dame of an insufferable twat - the actual sassy, sarky, no nonsense old school landlady/strong family woman is Debbie and they’re getting rid of her!! 👊🏻
Also the thought of Becky seducing anyone leaves a damp, swamp like aura of feathered horror in the air 🤮.

Debbie Webster is criminally underused in Corrie.
I really hope she ends up landlady of The Rovers at some point.

I’m really not looking forward to tomorrow’s episode. I mentioned before that this storyline helped me realise an abusive situation I was in, but now it’s got to the stage where it’s word for word Theo doing what he did etc. (apart from last night) but I feel like I have to see this story through to the end, hopefully there’s a positive outcome.

(The police have extended bail in my case, and don’t have much hope of a conviction anyway)

I didn’t mean to me-rail, but I just think that it’s definitely raised awareness I just really really hope they don’t fuck it up now.

I was lucky enough to have been there for the wedding with the dementia choir, it is a fab hotel, very swish. We got to have a nosey round and here’s the wedding cake… Sue Devaney and Jodie Prenger were absolutely brilliant with the group (as were the rest of the cast) but they spent ages with us.

Obvs I'm a little bit behind as usual (not sure how much as I just press continue watching on Sky...) but the Abbi and Seb stuff is painful! Nice for the actor who plays Seb to get a bit of pocket money but Abi wailing and cracking up is not entertaining. Also I love Amy but I cannot stand any more of that storyline with Aaron so I really hope that's not starting again.
I saw a comment on twitter that made me laugh. It was something along the lines of 'Seb's been in more episodes of Corrie recently than Rita and Seb's been dead for 4 years' :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Watching last nights corrie - how can Kevin bleat on at Tyrone about loyalty in friendship when he was shafting Tyrone’s wife and got her pregnant, leaving Tyrone to think it was his baby?!? Xx

I felt nothing with Eileen leaving. For someone who’s been in the show 25 years I thought I’d shed a little tear, but nothing.

Eileen used to be lots of fun when she was having banter with Steve and the various guys who worked in the cab office like Lloyd etc. She was also good with Sean and her sons. Somewhere along the line she lost her pizzazz and became boring. It’s weird but I think it’s since she’s lost the weight. Her old personality seemed to go with it

Absolutely loved the scenes of Todd going back to No 11. Mary being so genuine and sweet. George wrapping himself around Todd. Great scenes.

I honestly think introducing George Shuttleworth was the best thing Corrie have done in years. An amazing character played brilliantly by Tony Maudsley.

Whoever came up with the Debbie and dementia storyline should be sacked. She's one of the best characters on the street and she's really good with Ronnie.
