What a nasty response on her Instagram. Narcissist behaviour at its finest.
I don’t believe she knew nothing about it, there is no way the PR company would do this without her sign off. The way she worded her response was so conniving - “I wasn’t aware that those emails were being sent” “I’m not working with OK magazine on anything, that I’m aware of”.
And then to blame the cake company for publishing their response because now she has journalists at her front door is absolutely astounding. The bare cheek of it and what a nasty comment to make.
Vile behaviour.

Awful response! How fucking rude to basically say the bakery owner was looking for exposure. No, the media just picked up on it because we're all sick of self entitled people like her who think "exposure" is enough for payment! Christ she has clearly seen the emails so all she should be doing is apologising.

And as a little merail, I'm a cake maker and have made a few cakes for clients with big followings (who have all paid), and yes the exposure may bring you a few more visits to your page and likes to your photos, but I don't think I've ever had more orders from them, because not all their followers live in our area!

So pleased that the small business has got exposure and was brave enough to call them out.

This is why so many small businesses back down on exposing the “in plain sight theft” of these so called influencers.

Having had the experience with a certain “cleaning” zeleb myself and fearing negative backlash if I exposed what was said by her and the account her husband created just to troll me, I’m so glad this little business stood up for themselves.

And just so out of touch with her passive “exposure” comment. Just goes to show if you blow enough smoke up someone’s rear end they start to believe they are infallible 😂

I mean, this is why we are all on Tattle isn’t it? They have no shame. So grabby and dirty.

I know nothing about her, but I'm sick of influencer culture. Have a bit of self respect and pay yourself for things, stop monetising every personal event in your life.
I don't generally post on influencer threads as the lot of them drive me nuts.

I'm just gonna say wow! Given the negative response the original freebie request is getting she doubles down by inferring the baker is attention seeking!!
Surely she can see that the companies original request was promising exposure of the bakery etc.. or is she pissed that the bakery got the exposure without providing her freebies & benefitting from her social media promos!

Wow, what an idiotic response! Just own the fact you've been caught out and say it was 'misjudged' or something vague and obtuse then hope it dies down. Slagging off the bakery is going to do her no favours. That email was pretty self-explanatory

I'm sure she's not the only celeb/influencer who tries to blag free stuff, but risking being named and shamed is the price you pay for being greedy

He is so right though isn't he, I mean you really don't know what is going on in someone's life, they could be getting ready to marry the love of their life but the groom to be could be in a (probably free) hotel room wanking off to phone sex with other women he chats to over the t'internet, you really don't know do you Jason, you literal wanker.

The response of anything has made her seem even worse. She could have come over as naive even played down her involvement but to suggest that the baker was wanting attention is crass. As the response to the initial request stated a bank loan or mortgage can’t be paid in views and exposure. I for one hope the baker gets additional trade for standing up against the whole influencer debacle. In a cost of living crisis when you can afford something then go and pay for it.

I originally thought maybe she was just a bit cheeky for expecting a freebie. Now it turns out she's actually just a bitch. I get she's pissed off at having reporters knock on her door, which I wouldn't like either. But her sneering "cake lady" remark really has shown her true colours, and made this whole scenario much much worse for herself!

Hate the 'they do a lot of work for charity' line - so what? You were getting them to beg on your behalf from a small company. If you can't afford their work, don't have it.

Try M and S on Market Street - they'll do you some lovely cakes. They don't accept exposure either.
Jimmy saville did a lot of charity work… just saying just because you do charity work doesn’t erase everything else about you?

I’ve just watched a TikTok by a cake maker and during the video she said “Today I’m making a cake so good, even Catherine Tyldelsey’s gonna wanna pay for it” 😭
