Well it was obvious guiseppe was going to win when they cranked up the doom and gloom drama around him- oven door not closed, running behind, cake too warm to decorate etc. They give it away every year doing that.

Chrystelle must have seen the state of her bread when she took it out of the oven so why all the fake shock horror from her.

I love Noel (I am a Mighty Boosh fan girl) but agree with everyone's comments on Matt. His jokes aren't landing and I don't enjoy their chemistry. Pairing Noel with Richard Ayoade would be a stroke of genius. How can we make this happen?!!

They should make the final a public vote after that, Paul and Pru clearly aren't capable of judging. They've made it like if you don't get a handshake you're gone!

Sorry, I'm always going to be late on my takes as I'm in the US.

That was not bread week. The technical was not bread at all, and the showshopper was more about fillings than anything. I don't know why they decided to make such weird choices for bread week, but none of it was really appealing to watch or think about eating.

I also feel like none of the contestants have really shone in terms of personality. Either they're all still having nervous jitters about being on TV for the first time, or this is the most reserved bunch we've had.
